Day 6 of the seedling stage, she’s moving along pretty nicely.
Onward and upward
IMO she’s ready too start feeding now. I’d suggest starting with 400uS/200PPM and increase by 50-100uS/25-50PPM each event until you reach desired strength. I’m super excited to see this one. I’ve been wanting to grow Albino Kush for a while, but havn’t pulled the trigger yet.
Should I go ahead and move her to her forever home ? And give a feeding, or should I go ahead and leave her in the germ pod for a little bit longer ?
Went ahead moved her to her forever home. Gonna get some water aerating for 24 hours to get the chlorine out. Tomorrow will be the start of feeding.
Upon transplanting her roots have reached the bottom of the germ pod and looks great. Meant to get some pictures but sadly forgot. Here’s some pics of her in her forever home.
Drip irrigation is all set up but will not be running until she gets a little bit bigger in size. Just wanted to get it into the coco now.
What are you starting her feed schedule at??
How often? How many secs/mins?
I’m gonna be going in from hand for right now at the levels gitch mentioned above. Around 200ppm and slowly increasing her until she reaches what she can handle. Once she hits that full veg I’m gonna start giving recommend amounts per foop and then possibly increases until I find her sweet spot.
I haven’t gotten the program down yet like I set it up for Monday-Sunday. But didn’t put times in yet. I was gonna go for a low and slow. Start around 3:00 pm and the drip end at 3:30pm so essentially going for around 30 mins. But this is hypothetical right now until I see exactly how slow I can get the drip and figure out when my 20% runoff will be.
Fair just looking for input I’m going to use a drip on my 4 coco plants just trying to see what others are doing.
What nutrients are you using? Sorry if I missed it previously
It’s no problem, I am using foop organic biosciences. That’s the only nutrients I have used since I started growing. I have little to no issues with them at all.
Although beings I am using canna coco, I may switch over to canna coco nutrients within the next few grows just to see how it is.
Sorry I meant to add that into the last response but the kiddo caught my attention.
Yeah that’s what I’m using this go. We’ll see how it goes.
Yeah my kiddo got mine too he just learned how to let us know when he has to potty so it’s drop everything and get him to the bathroom.
That’s awesome !! I remember them days now we get the can you help me I pooped and can’t wipe 4 going on 5 next month hopefully we can get her out that kick.
Haha that’s hilarious oh man I don’t want to do that.
Whatcha think glitch ? Hand feed for a little bit then switch over to the drip. Or just go right through the drip from here on out ?
Yup, wait until the canopy gets approximately the same size as the pot to hook up auto irrigation. That’s a loose indicator that roots have filled the pot. Until then you can hand water in small amounts.
Should I still go for the 20% run off ?
I do a few transplants so the size of the pot always matches the size of the plant. In that case the answer is yes. I’ve only done a few rounds straight to the final pot so I can’t say for sure. When I did go straight to 3 gals I watered in a tight circle around the plant and left the edges of the pot mostly dry and I was able to get some runoff, but if you find that it’s staying wet for more than 2-3 days then dial the water back. Maybe there is someone lurking with more experience starting in final pot. If so they could probably give you a more knowledgeable opinion, but that’s how I did it a few times and it seemed to work ok.
Alright perfect, I did the red solo cup over the plant itself and poured the feed over the cup to get a wet ring around it so I know around about how close. Hopefully close enough and got the run off.
Aye guys just wondering if I would be able to get some help with canna coco nutrients. If anyone has any advice or feed back would be greatly appreciated. I just switched over to the canna coco lime and need help figuring out the schedule for it. Thank you all in advance.
You can get on their website and get a schedule. Just search “canna feed schedule” and it should be close to the top.
