I turned off my one bank of lights so only have the bloom light setting going and the light is about 18" above them. I am using fox farms trio , I think I might have gotten a bit sloppy with the mix … my next scheduled feeding is for this evening and I was going to go with 1/2 the suggested amount… About how many more weeks do you think. ??? TY

That’s a little close, I would raise it to about 24” just to be safe.
3-4 more weeks out yet. I would go with 1/2 strength.
I will measure and let you know , and move it up some . should I just leave the burnt leaves alone for now or ??? what do you think about the fertilizer? in these last few weeks … ??? I’m sorry I have sooooooo many questions but mannnnnnn do I appreciate the help … I use the herb for my medical condition which is neuromuscular in nature and for sleep… sooooo can you give me some pointers moving forward regarding harvest and what I should be looking for?
You’re watching for 95% pistils to be brown. 1/2 strength is good.

Get some more pics up, flood your journal. You can absolutely cut off those dead or burnt leaves, rule of thumb is 50% damage and above can be taken off. Those are not really jam packed with leaves so I wouldn’t go crazy not many! She has got a ways to go, don’t go harvesting her early and give her 2 or 3 weeks B4 sampling a nug. LoL
I just looked up Afghani and it says 100% indica, Wow really, that’s cool and only an 8 week flower so you must of flipped her the beginning of the month is my guess? Is that ff soil also…have you ever seen the schedule for ff? Your gonna barely use the grow big now…green bottle and you should be introducing the tiger bloom bottle now.

The one girl is the soil from a “pot for a pot” from ILGM . the one is part coco husk and Fox Farm Ocean Forest . and the runt is just Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I had gnats which I combated with the fly stick’em thingamabobs. I went with the Afghani because it reads excellent for my medical condition … I cut off by mistake a stem with a flower on it stuck it a bottle of poland springs water with a little fox farms fertilizer and it is growing like mad the bud has formed nicely LOL … I am learning DAILY and can’t thank you guys and girls for ALL of the help. The Afghani is great because of the Small foot print it has , welllllll at least my girls ended up that way I have 3 inside my tent that i have set up in my garage ducted outside directly . I have the vivosun 3 foot by 20 inches by 63 inches high , cant say enough GREAT things about that product along with the 4" inch duct fan , I also have a 6" fan up high for air circulation … I feed them last night using only a half a gallon of water with only half the Fox Farms big bloom and tiger bloom .
It is extremely hard NOT to feed / over water , but i read that it is good to err on the side of LESS IS MORE !!! I will give them the weekend and then take a few more pics and try to post them , I am still having issues with that HOLE process , I am NOT computer savy , if anyone has some “STUPID PROOF” complete directions from phone to forum I would be forever greatful… I did go 12/12 about Sept. 1st ish … I could also use some photos of what the trichomes should look like, especially since I need / want a higher CBN ???

Those look like some big pots, are they 5s or 7s?? They could definitely support a little longer veg time next grow. Unless they are autos then I’m dumb. The lights could prolly come down to 24" see how they react. Other then that small potatoes that you’ll get better with each grow. Your pot farming though mi amigo…

the filter pot is 5 gallon the others are 3.5 gallon …
We talked about this a little bit ago I think and a couple ppl weighed in @ about 2 - 3 weeks if I member right. Didn’t you order a jewlers loupe or something? There’s a lot of threads I look through so details may be off. Get some real good close up pics in
focus and then zoom in on the pic. Another great way is go look at Bud of the month and compare. Take into account when you flipped add a week and then start counting weeks. That’s the best case scenario GUESS.

can someone please send me some pics of what a bud looks like that is ready to harvest , ??? some of the leaves are starting to brown on the edges and curling up … and my one girl is still nice and green ???/ Please advise . TY

Congrats on your grow man. I am about to harvest my first grow with 2 Afghani plants.
I really have no way of checking the Tricomes on my plants but there is still a few white hairs. The tips of my plants have also started to get brown tip leaves and curl, so I guess that this is just the strain of the plant.
I will be harvesting in another weeks time and hope to get a few OZ’s.
I wish you all the luck my friend and hope this helps out somewhat. Can’t wait for my first taste.
