Afghan flowered for a week and put outdoor FEM (HOG)

They called them grow blocks it could be the same thing and I’m just curious if you can put them in soil after they get started let me get some better pictures of them

If it is rockwool cubes than yes you can but make sure they are well established that way they dont get shocked due to the instant ph fluctuations being well developed will help them manage it just fine

@Paranorman @Majiktoker

That is a rockwool cube, do as @Paranorman suggested about soaking in adjusted ph

I use occasionally and have used in soil they tend to hold water so watering around them in soil is a must but they do work and I believe above someone mentioned PH soak prior to use.

I’ve always done at the old fashion way paper towel pH water with some seaweed extract 24 to 36 hours cracked open put directly in dirt but I figured I’d try one of these because they’ll fit in a solo cup I was going to kind of buried in the soil so whenever I go to transplant I can put the cup in the new pot To form my hole and I’ll be able to flip it and transplanted easy

So you guys think it would be OK to put it in a solo cup surrounded in dirt ready to be transplanted when its ready ?

Yes absolutely

Yeah that one there I had the common sense to do so thank you very much because I know some people would’ve probably left that on that’s why I love this place everybody’s watching everybody’s back

if you were cloning with it you leave it on to prevent light getting inside it actually is there for that exact reason :wink:
I have a package of them myself since in hydro and debated cloning with them rather than rapid rooters at start better to have and not need :slight_smile:

Yeah I haven’t quite gotten to cloning yet I’m debating on trying hydroponics but now that you mention that cloning juices cheap and I have the room to do it I might have to look into it thanks for the suggestion @Donaldj

Rapid rooters are far more idiot proof no offence intended just they are very reliable and forgiving when cloning than rockwool

LOL I was just reading above thinking how I prefer rapid rooters and then I saw this and I LMAO! …too funny man!
