I don’t know if any one else does this but I figured I’d share this technique and see how ppl feel about it.
I do this once a week for best results.
Get s two liter bottle and put a hole in the lid with a hot pin or paper clip , keep the hole small . In the bottle mix three cups sugar and two cups plain oats with water and a table spoon of any regular baker or brewers yeast that was pre soaked in a little warm water for ten min. Mix everything and hang the bottle in growtent or closet , put in front of a fan if possable, also keep higher than plants because co2 falls due to its higher density than reg air. Swirl around daily to cause a gas rush in the room , you will hear the co2 rushing out of the bottle to help your plants grow. I love this trick . Any feed back is appreciated.
Have u done a comparison with and with out co2? I am curious at if it makes that much of a difference. What u run for lights? U need alot of light to make co2 worth doin rite?
I have a Viparspectra par600 and a kingplus 1500 . There is a point where you need more co2 to break down more light . For me it was worth it . When I put in a new bottle my plants grow 2-3 inches a day but it slows when the bottle is reaching its end ( about seven days ). I have grow without it and you get the same results in the end it just takes weeks longer to get there . Give it a try and see if it works , I did and now I always have one in there.
Faster growth is always better, i am running a twin 400w(800w) M/H and 1 400w HPS in my 5x5x7 room and a 1000 M/H-HPS in my 3x4x6 tent. So I have the light to male it worth trying, i just may have to give it a go. Thanks @Alpo0721 for the info.
I recently started aeroponic hydro, talk about fast growth. I new hydro grew faster but im impressed so far at how fast they really grow in hydro
For c02 to really work everything else needs to be spot on . And exhaust fan off for a set time and i know this is a cheap way also dry ice after lights go out with exhaust off but using myconize moves them along soil to. If it works for you cool what are you getting from a plant what is your wet bud weight when you harvest?
Like what could you expect for a gain im thinking about doing this im getting a average of 540 grams of trimmed bud a plant right now with out it there’s a propane co2 generator on Craigslist for 125 bucks any information would be awesome
There’s always limiting factors in a grow , it could be space , pot size , shitty ph or fertilizer problems . Once I dial in my lights and humidity and ph and get a good fert schedule co2 was my last limiting factor , I just didn’t have enough co2 to optimize my light , once I added the co2 I could see them growing almost lol sounds crazy but it’s not to much of an exaggeration.
