Above ground and growing

Garden looks happy !

I definitely am glad I put the other light in. DLI good across tops. I’ve been using photo tone to keep tabs on light. So far it seems to be okay. Can anyone vouch for its reliability?

I give it a “good enough” rating and never rely solely on the app. I use the app for reference along with what my light manufacturer recommends. Mostly, I let the plants dictate the light settings. Happy growing, Growmie :grinning:

Seems to be a fair enough reference. Just my thoughts. Like you said I need to just go with the flow.

Day 50. Quick update. Smaller one seems to be about a week ahead of bigger one in flowering. Smaller one seems have gone woody. Bigger ones stems just started to transition. Been tucking and very selective fan leaf plucking. Any advice or just keep cruising. Thanks.

New tent came. Wish I had more space in my loft.

I was really concerned with the 6ft ceilings in my loft and ac infinity tent being 6ft. Seems to fit. Ventilation might be a bit weird. Wish I’d grabbed the 4x2 ac tent to start. Will swap as wife permits

Hmm, wonder if I can use a side vent instead of top. Thoughts? Small tent. One plant only.

Will read about it. Guess as long as it’s venting towards top of tent should be good

Intake bottom exit top, you should be golden. Congrats on the new tent.

Thanks. Worked it out.
DLI question. My upper buds are recieving about 55 DLI. Im not having any heat or light burn issues. I was reading about c02 supplement when DLI starts getting high. Not something I’m interested in doing. My canopy height has been maxed.

My question is, is it safe to run that high without CO2 supplement or should I dial my lights back a bit? Thanks for any advice.

Searched and found several articles

The plant will always let you know if its unhappy. As long as their happy i keep pushing.

I’m definitely watching them

The plants are very easy to grow, I can grow them with my eyes closed, The drying & curing is the hardest, After that is when you can count those eggs, not prior, seen so much get thrown out b/c something didn’t go right

Each stage offers its own new experience as a new grower. I dont monitor my wife’s houseplants as closely as these.

I think I’m set for the dry and cure. I’m going to apply the keep it simple method and do 60/60 for the 120. Just got some clip racks. Not sure if I should cure in grove bags or mason jars. Still reading a bit.

My concern now more where I am at in flowering stage and reading about flushing and trichomes. Still have a bit, but want to be prepared.

For me this grow was learning to control my environment and lighting. I have a much better grasp now and still more to learn. And I wanted to play with the weed.

Thanks for reading my rambles.

2-3 weeks into flower maybe?

And my leaves looked like light was hard on them so I dialed it down.

light is like the dimmer switch on the plant. All your other inputs and environmental controls are driven by light. Cannabis can handle insane amounts of light and grow very quickly, but then it needs very warm like 85-90 very humid 75-80% and eventually even CO2 augmentation. Nute needs will also change usually lower strength nute more often. Long story short the better you can control your environment and inputs the more light they can handle and the faster they will grow.

Good stuff on light. I’m getting to see a baseline. I won’t lie, out of everything I was a bit inimated by the lighting and environment. Not even the watering bothered me. And seems like a lot of people have trouble with that.

I’ve noticed my frequency of watering has increased. My pots getting light fast. I’ve been just feeding 14ml base a and b for last few feeds. (Feeding every water. Ph’d 6.5ish and just got my tds pen so will start playing with that). I’ll go 10 next time. And read some more. Thanks for the advice my man.

Leaf temp heat stress?

What is your temp and humidity? They don’t too look bad yet.

Average 78 temp 60 rh. I’m gonna keep it cranked up for awhile.

I usually slowly dial my temp and humidity down after my 3rd or 4th week of flower. most of the veg growth is done so the plant doesn’t necessarily need those higher temps and humidity to stimulate growth. lower temps also help preserve terps and low humidity prevents bud rot and mildew (though I personally have never had a problem with it) later in flower.
