A beginners guide from germinating to harvest to help answer most questions that most beginners have trouble with in getting started

@Hammer I have no clue on how to do that Sir , I just started a new topic and beginner was my options . Maybe I’m not computer literate enough to know how to manage grow journals , but if you can explain how to do that , I’ll be glad to move it , are just delete it cause I have no clue on how to move a journal to a specific subject title .

<img src="//cdck-file-uploads-global.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/growingmarijuana/original/3X/9/9/99288ad61baa61411dbf54d1cd8e27e8cecd3ab6.jpeg" width="373" height="500"><img src="//cdck-file-uploads-global.s3.dualstack.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/growingmarijuana/original/3X/7/d/7dc7eba19f41c1b08263d36571839385135483e3.jpeg" width="373" height="500">

So I topped them at second node , than transplanted into 1 gallon pot added 0.60 super thrive , mammoth p , humbolt secrets golden tree , pirahna , tarantula , voodoo juice , and B1 red & green and adjusted lights to 20 inches and put Azos in the soil . They are now 12 days from germination , so once they recover I’ll start the vegging calendar . I have not put any C02 in there just yet , I’ll wait a few days to re-start CO2 once they recoup and start to grow , but they are in Happy Frog and Coco coir perlite mix and I think they will realky start to take off in about 3-5 days . Now I did flush out soil until my run off water read 5.8 which was a task but very much worth the labor , not having your soil PH before planting can be a mistake that cause most premature nutrient defiencies , so I made sure runoff was at 5.8 broke my PH meter glass tube underneath trying to clean it and had to pull out my newest meter which self calibrates and I really like this PH meter , it works flawless for now hope it holds up for the hold grow . But yeah this is where I’m at into my grow and I’ll be gone for 4 days so the 1 gallon pot with coco mixed in the happy frog I think should hold enough moisture to keep them wet enough until I get back , if so they getting they first dose of Connisuer Grow A & B if they tell me they ready but I’m not sure just yet , have to wait until they talk and tell me they want some filet mignon for breakfast , wait that sounds good but Waffle House only have sirloin I think , hungry.com from the Cheese , Ph was 5.8 in soil and PPM was 150 stay tuned .

@Yoshi , Welllll i can ,thus i have the tools .but haven done it before and don’t want to ruin your hard work and efforts . So try this first and if it don’t work let me know and ill do an experiment on mine own .and see if it works if not then i can delete my trial experiment …But cut it and paste it … Big thanx Yoshi .

@hammer cut and paste it where Sir , I’m so confused on this , I thought this could be posted in the beginners section but I must be sadly mistaken . But I’m using an iPad to post , comment , and write my thread .

@ Yoshi , ill look into the how to before i try it …and currently you have it posted in the Official buyers guide section .under indoor lighting . that was why i wanted it moved …So that if placed in the correct section you receve more views ,and newbies will be able to find it faster, easier. and make use of your hard work. (Don’t sweat the petty stuff and don’t pet the sweaty stuff… )LOL will help to square this away .give me a day or two .in the mean while Keep on Growing .
Hammer .

Just getting back from my short trip and they was thirsty but they have grown ah little , so I gave them .5ml of Connisuer Grow A & B , B-52 , Voodoo juice , Mammoth P , Golden Tree , and Terpinator at 5.8 just to get them started . Now on my trip I found a great grow store and they had Mykos in stock which I’ll used with the Azos for the last transplant maybe in the next two weeks .

@Hammer I think I managed to change the place of my thread but I’m not sure if it worked .

I think you got it master Yoshi . it is now showing up in the beginner grow journals :tada::fireworks:
Hammer . may the grow force be strong with you .:sunglasses:

@Hammer I won’t say mastered , but I did make an effort to look into figuring it out and I toggled with it and try some options and I believe I figured it out . But I really wanted to get this done . Now that’s out of the way and it’s showing in the right journal thread heading , awesome now I can continue to update and hopefully help out many beginners .

Man I cannot believe how explosive the roots are developing since I’ve used the Azos . I was thinking maybe 2 weeks before transplanting , but the final transplant will be much sooner I’m sure , cause I had roots growing out the drain holes in the bottom already after 5 days maybe which is extremely rapid . Now I have Mykos to go with the Azos I can only marine how these two plants is going to explode in growth , but if you not using Azos & Mykos you should if you want a strong root system in your plants .

Looking good buddy! I started using the mykos third set of clones and I could notice the difference I’ll look into the azos next

I’ll try to post a picture later tonight when I get home from work on the roots and how they are exploding , but I transplanted them last week from a cup to a 1 gallon , but I added a teaspoon of Azos in the hole before I placed the roots in the pot and they already growing out the drain holes . I think this was last Tuesday or Wednesday right before I left to go see my new grand baby . Now I read where the Azos and Mykos works best together on they website , but I did have the Mykos , just the Azos and it’s working very well let me tell you . But the bucket they are in is transparent which you can see the roots growing like crazy , plus I’ve gave them a small dose of nutrients , which was Connisuer Grow A & B , Voodoo juice , B-52 , Mammoth P , Humbolt Secrets Golden Tree , Micro Munch , Calmag , and Terpinator at .5 ml to a Quart and split that mix in half and added water to make two portions , one for each plant and PH’ed it at 5.7 and PPM was right at 400 and man they are about to take off faster than I’ve ever experienced , so I watered them today just PH’ed water at 5.7 but when I lifted the pots , it’s was roots growing out the drain holes , so at that rate I’ll have to transplant them sooner into the 3 gallon pots here soon , but I’ll do a teaspoon of Azos & Mykos this time and the same feeding at .5 ml and see what happens and I’ve also started my Co2 , but I was thinking maybe about 8 weeks in vegging , but after seeing that rapid root production , I’m thinking they will be main lined and ready for the scrog in 2-3 weeks and finished by Late Febuary or March instead of April May , Wow I’m like puzzled on how quick they responded to the Azos …crazy growth !!!

This is the root system just after maybe 5 days using Azos , this is crazy fast growth , well fastest I’ve seen in my grows . Well now I’m about to prep my 3 gallon buckets , get my soil layered and PH’ed so they will be ready for the last move for these two lady’s , but man I’m super impressed with the response of how fast the roots grew using just Azos , and I read that it’s even more explosive growth when you used Azos & Mykos in sequence , so yes I’ll be adding both to the 3 gallon pots when I transplant them , but I’m thinking I should just go head and get ready to transplant them in the next day or so cause the roots have already stretched to the bottom of the 1 gallon pot from a cup where I sprouted the seeds from germination . Well I’ll never grow without Azos & Mykos from now on cause it really works and give your roots explosive , fast growth . Now you know what farmers say , the bigger your roots , the bigger the fruits right , but I’m not seeing much upper growth just yet in the two plants , which is a indications that it’s focusing on rooting , but I’ve never seen any of my previous plants root this fast , but I’m also using golden tree and mammoth p , which I believe is also apart of the roots rapid growth …epic !!!

Hello to all my beginners even myself , if you look at the beginning of this journal , you will see where I germinated my seeds in the wet paper towel method which is almost 94% germination rate . I planted them on the 19 th of October and they sprouted up on 21 St of October , set my lights at 36 inches on full power for 24/0 , started my Co2 as well and they were planted in Fox Farm Happy Frog medium , sprayed with a 6 ounce spray bottle with my Ph at 5.8 with B-1 Red Super Thrive and B-1 Green super Thrive for 12 days and than I transplanted them to a 1 gallon bucket . Now when I transplanted on November 2 ,2016 for the first transplanting , I put Azos extreme nitrogen microbes in the soil and added .60 of Mammoth P , Humbolt Secrets Golden Tree , B-1 Red , B-1 Green , 2.5 ml of Connisuer A & B Grow , Tarantula , Pirahna , and Voodoo Juice in a 64 ounce (2 quart) bottle mixed it all up and than pour out half and half and added water to make two feedings . Than I started my timer on 18/6 and my water , water , feed schedule . After 5 days I restarted my Co2 and feed them for the second time Connisuer A & B at .5 ml , Terpinator , Mammoth P ,
B-52 , Voodoo Juice , Humbolt Golden Tree , 2.5 ml of Big Bud , and Microbial Munch to a 2 quart bottle mixed it up and pour out half and half to make two servings and my PH was at 5.6 and PPM was at 0400 . My plants started rooting like mad crazy , growing out the drain holes in the one gallon rapidly . I was very impressed with the extreme grow of the root system from the Azos . I did top the plant at the second node which I don’t suggest unless you confident enough to do it , but I did top my two plants before the first transplant to the 1 gallon pot . Now on November 9, 2016 I had to transplant a second time to they final 3 gallon bucket cause of the rapid growth of the roots , so I transplanted and gave them the same feeding but I mixed Azos extreme with the Mykos extreme in the soil before this feeding in a 1 gallon jug at .5 ml to the gallon and pour out half and half to make two servings and transplanted them and gave them the feeding nutrients . So this is where I’m at now in my grow , transplanted to the 3 gallons , added Azos & Mykos (2 teaspoons ) to the soil in the hole before transplanting and feed them they nutrients . Now in about 2-5 days I expect them to really take off and start to thrive vigorously , simply cause of what I’ve seen them do with just the Azos microbes , but I’ll update this thread in a few days after they get the first schedule watering only after this feeding which should be on the 11 th or 12 th of November but I’ll have to check the soil before I water them . Now just to add my soil is layered from the bottom Fox Farm Ocean Forest , than Happy Frog midway and topped off with Coco Coir perlite mix which works great for me and the plant as it grows and mature , but in a few days I’ll update the progress and my lights are at 24 inches and veg switch is on full power which are the blue and white lights only and my bloom switch is turned to about a 1/4 power which is about 16,000 par lumens to the plant top canopy which is good to keep temps in the right range and humidity is about 64% and temps is 77 degrees which is almost perfect for vegging . I’m super excited about this grow cause this is my first attempt to scrog two plants at the same time instead of just one plant , hope this helps a lot of you all beginners questions on how to get started and keep your grow in perspective so your plants can be healthy and thrive without defiencies are ph problems when growing in soil , Happy Growing Yoshi !!!

I just got home and checked up on the girls and they have not done much since I transplanted them earlier today , but they not stressed and I think in 2 weeks these two plants will take off and by early December they might be ready for the scrog screen ?

I’m trying to figure out what I would used for a drainage tray once I get them growing into the scrog screen . This way I won’t be moving the plants anymore , I’ll just shop vac the run off and that’s it, but I need something that would hold both bucket pots to drain runoff after watering and feeding . Also on my next watering day I’ll be adding 1/8 of a cup of Skin Milk , I heard this really helps your plants , besides kill the larvae in your soil to prevent gnats , never had the lil boogers and don’t want them either , so I’ll be doing an 1/8 of cup of skin milk to a gallon , 7.5 ml of Grow A & B , .5ml of Mammoth P , Golden tree , Terpinator , voodoo juice , and B-52 , and microbial munch , and hopefully after my third feeding they should be established and ready for the scrog .
