Have wormlike caterpillars eating ak-47 auto, been picking off and killing…got 9 this morning
@Hogmaster
Just spotted another…
Inch worms. I’ve had a few of those too over the course, but not that many. 4 or 5. Not really an infestation for me. But maybe you want to resort to Caterpillar BT Spray or Spinosad. Also . . . keep butterflies and moths away! They look so pretty, but when you think about it . . .
Those are the same guys I was having problems with last week. No joke I harvested my autos at 10 weeks because of them. They ruined some of the tops. I’ll tag you on my grow journal
They really like the AK-47 auto…
I’m at 6 weeks of flowering, going to try and go at least 14 days depending on trichomes and inch worms…
I’ve bought 20 AK-47 auto seeds from ILGM for future grows. I ended up germinating one seed in order to get back to 6 plants (one showed male) 4 weeks ago; but she’s been a runt so far! 4 weeks. . . just 2 inches tall! She’ll probably get going at some point.
Yours is beautiful! I love the thin, elegant sativa leaves; and the flowers are looking just great! How close are you to harvest for her?
(Edit to add: You answered as I was asking! How’d you know?
)
Here’s the other ak-47 my father in law has going, I germinated and have been advising, it was dug up and transplanted as a seedling, only about 3 1/2 blocks away from me, didn’t see any inch worms…non fabric pot, probably 10 -15 gallons.it doesn’t get as much morning sun like her sister at my place, plus she’s about 6 feet from swimming pool and has definitely been sprayed by some chlorinated water. It has similar smell…piny and skunky
A bit different! I can’t tell what’s going on with the leaves . . .
Still gorgeous!
It’s been hit by sprinkler water and pool water…plus she has not been fawned over as much…
I just harvested 6 ww autos and they were all different sizes and buds were different on some than the others. I call it a learning curve being my first harvest.
Don’t even worry it’s called phenotype
It didn’t get as much low stress training like mine did either, just a little at the beginning…
Was looking at trichomes through jeweler’s loop, they’re getting milky, probably ready to harvest in several days, AK-47 auto at 66 days from seed now…
Looks great I would go through the buds looking for caterpillars first. Do you plan on washing weed?
Peace out yall
The 2 chronic widow plants looking like they’re getting ready to be flowering machines…
