Thanks for the tag @TheAbu95 . I’m thinking of doing only 1 plant next run (Jan/Feb) and see how big I can get her.

I use a broken light schedule of 6 on 2 off, three times a day. The heat doesn’t build up as much and it makes it easier for me to work on them throughout the day…light is either on or will be soon! Start the cycle when they were fresh cuttings getting rooted, and stays that way until the 12/12 flip.

Thats not a bad idea to keep the heat down! At the stage im still only running 350ish ppfd so currently the temp stays around 77°. I run into heat trouble about mid flower usually :face_with_peeking_eye:.

Ill probably start the jacks next watering. This is the first time ive checked runoff, i expected it to still be hot . Wish i would have tested that soil earlier. I really like Foxfarms soil but they are quite inconsistent .

Brother Abu , that Jelly Donutz is some mighty delicious weed. Enjoying a bowl for breakfast as we speak. Every bit as flavorful as the old Jolly Rancher. I’ll be watching you bring out the best in her. Happy Growing

I need to add a thought. Be careful “stretching” the Jelly D . She shows her sativa side as she buds. Now if you can find a way to make her thicken ,I’m all in. I’m currently experimenting with a bloom booster , on an outdoor grown, indoor budding JD. She’s only 2 weeks in and smells Terrific. Happy Growing

Heack all the stuff i read was daying it was a real short plant that didn’t stretch much lol. Couple days into that broken schedule and we should have an idea whats gunna happen lol. It was saying to that the buds were more spaced out instead of just big meaty colas. That would be a good thing in my little tent. Those 4"wide buds scare me

The JD is quite interesting strain. I’ve grown quite a few of them now. There are 2 distinctly different phenotypes. One is very dark leaning purple the other green until the very end and then a little purple shows up. The greener one grows bigger. Amongst the darker pheno is a smaller one that doesn’t get very big and makes proportionately smaller buds, but there is another dark one that almost keeps pace with the green one. Irregardless, the weed is very fruity flavored and packs a wallop. This is her in a scrog …

Its daily pinning her back to the net. I let this one grow upward because it is almost out from under the light…

This is week 2 , in flower , for her. She has a long way to go yet. This weed is really one of my current favorites. Don’t like getting to far from my pipe since I made a batch of bubble hash with it. Lip-Smacking deliciousness. Happy Growing

You’re right. The difference between new, and experienced growers. N how far you are willing to go to correct a medium. These problems are small for an average experienced grower, but going into a larger scale or multiple plants is when it becomes a nuisance when needing multiple bags, different values. Pros and cons to mediums.

I have the same problem with miracle grow potting mix, very inconsistent, and I also do multiple pots which takes a few bags, to make each pot consistent I put 4 pots and empty one bag splitting evenly between each pot, repeat with each bag until pots are full, my ppms end up really close. A little bit of a pain but worth the effort :ok_hand:

Even when just dealing with 3 or 4 bags is pita. If you know, you can combine and mix and then pull from the mixture to fill each pot. But for roughly the same price you can buy stuff that isn’t necessary. Their quality control went way down when they started sending semi loads to big box warehouses.

Consistency is what keeps me a promix user. Premium moisture control/ 1/3 chunky perlite. Love the fact there is no fertilizer in it. Feed from the start. Grows weed amazingly well. As long as it stays the same , I will use it every time. $19.95 a 2 sq. ft. compressed bale, a strong selling point.
