@Riskguy read an article on your schwazzing back in 2023 when you removed all your leaves how many days did you wait to flip to flower after trying if you don’t mind me asking was thinking about trying that method
@Edwards I do a complete schwazzze on the day the lights go to 12/12 and give them a heavy feed. I do it again around day 20 or 21 after the flip.

I do not think the media matters, but they do need nutrition available after the schwazze…so really amended soil or synthetic nutes.

@Riskguy just got finished hopefully did it right amended with build a soil craft blend, build a flower and build a bloom soil that I’m in is build a soil duke diamond x before n after pictures

They look really good. Nice flat canopy. They are going to start stretching. Important to keep fed and do not let them get too dry.

Maybe slightly less on the next one…mainly because the second one is harder…there are more small leaves. I take anything I can easily get my scissors on, being careful not to damage bud sites or growing tips.
I do the next one on day 20, 21, 0r 22 depending on which day they need to be fed…I defoliate and then feed on the same day. I usually put them in the net a day or two after the second defoliation before the leave grow back and make things difficult.
This guy wrote a grow bible and I have followed “generally” for the last 4 year on my indoor grows. Here is his take on the “day 20 schwazze”

@Riskguy know its only been 7 days should I trim a little or just wait until 2nd schwazzing getting thick is why I’m asking
I would not trim leaves until the next schwazze. They are looking really good. If there are branches that are not up at the canopy or if the center is congested you can thin some branches, otherwise you have lots of room in the tent to spread them out in the net.
