@Riskguy Good call. I don’t have a co2 alarm but I have a co2 meter . Probably need to set up in same room and read levels . Just to be safe !

Another solution to the rooms getting too cold during lights off ,
You can veg under 6-2 and that will help even out the high/low temp fluctuations
I use it after the first 2 weeks from seed , that I do at 24/0 , till I flip to flower.
If I use 18/6 the lil oil filled works too hard 
.

I would try 20/4 with radient heater.
possibly 22/2 for mor lights-heat.

You can. 45° isn’t horrible. You can stay with your light schedule if you want. For flowering plants, the temps can bring out some color. For veg plants, they’ll just pout. They’ll bounce back when it warms up.

I was working last night and turned heater off for a minute. I totally forgot and was like why am i so Fing cold? I looked and it was 52 degrees in my room lol
We cold in central west tx too! First year mama and i havent had cows to tend to, and first year without a fireplace. We did build another shelter for the goats yesterday, we had 3 sets of twins dec. 2. So more space was needed. 3 sets of twins, thats at least 200 to 300 a piece, thats a 1200 to 1800.oo dollar day. This is the time of the year to get those 60 to 70 lbers to market. 3.oo to 4.50 lb live weight.
Good nannies kid twice a yr, 4 kids per year minimum of 800.00 per nanny.
Wished our hens would start laying, eggs are expensive too.
Got to 50F in my flower room last night so turned on the space heater. My texada timewarp is getting very purple with the cool temps. But it’s nasty outside so I turned on the heat lamp for the chickens the last couple days.
Was 38F when I left for work Thursday morning, -23F wind chill yesterday same time. Truck wouldn’t start, that’s a first for me since moving from Minnesota. So my son decided we were gonna walk to our neighborhood diner. Fine with me, toss on another layer of clothes and let’s go. But did we ever get looks 
Military sent me to the twin cities to go to school at FMC for missiles down the road from Prince. Was very cold for southern born.
We live in the foothills of Virginia also. It is too damn cold! My plants are in the basement, so they are isolated from outdoor temperatures. Lost power from 2pm to 7pm yesterday. I think the plants will be OK with the outage. 1 tent at 8th week, and 1 tent at the 1st week of flowering. Reset the timers and let them have some extra dark cycle time on this day.
We use a an outdoor wood furnace, and it usually burns 12 hours or more between loading it up with wood. Last night I loaded it up at 10pm and by 7am this morning most of the wood in furnace was burnt up, and the water temperature that was coming out it was down to 100 degrees. The house had dropped down to 68 degrees, and the heat pump was running both stages of heat.
