3rd try-Hopefully i wont get caught this time.SOME COMEDY

Good plan. I’m only doing one at a time so just gonna spend 10 bucks on happy frog. And some perlite. Unless I can mix clay pebbles in with it instead. Have a bag of that for a dwc that never happened.

I hear that -it felt like forever about 100 days and counting. It was fun though like when I strapped her pot to that tandem bike seat and we want for a ride in the park. That was a good day.

☆☆☆ PH QUESTION? !??!
I think I’m about to have a problem- my pH going in was 6.6 my pH coming out of my Autoflower was 4.6 I checked it several times and that’s exactly what it was what do I need to do to correct this properly I had been pH in the plants at 6 point 2 and today I did it is 6.6 thinking that may bring it up at the roots a little but I didn’t want to overdo it since I don’t know what I’m doing. Plant looks good and healthy but I want to do something before it freaks out on me LOL

So here they are today after being watered.
This first one is a pineapple haze that i made my first attempt at fim, maybe some one experienced can zoom in and see if i cut it in the right place. Its already showing internode growth after just three days and where I fimmed it

you can see where
this next one is my runt Auto White Widow I put it outside I’ll put it inside I’m trying but she is nowhere near what the other auto started at the same time This is the other WwA

This pic is the first Ph above after i bent her over to get more light underneath and to strengthen the stem

This last pic is my temporary quick fix for when i water the plants so the waterflow doesnt dig out a big hole in the soil .which made me wonder from the first time .
What are you guys using to facilitate the watering of your plants cuz I know I’ve read that some people are flushing sometimes 15 Gallons through some of these plants or even just watering several plants you’re talking about another 20 gallons of water and I know everybody is not toting buckets full of water that weighs 5060 pounds and I know there’s a lot of people on here that aren’t physically able to do that so I’m assuming you must have a reservoir system with a hose that you run off of it with but I’d like to see some ideas before I start fabricating some Childish mess in my closet that may waste a lot of time and energy.

If it’s in soil you should be fine nothing to worry about, dolite lime or however you spell it will slightly drop it down but don’t use to much

@Majiktoker I need to bring the soil ph up not down right?

6.3-6.9 is where you wanna be 6.5-6.6 in soil is perfect

@Majiktoker what i ment was , you said above to use the lime to bring the soil ph down but my issue is the soil ph is too low (4.6) so i was asking did you MEAN to say the lime would bring UP the soil PH or am i that lost

I think you use lime to take the pH down, and peat moss to take it up, is that right?

Is the ph test liquid in general hydro’s up/down package pretty much right? I didn’t feel like calibrating my tester. Was just testing for grins anyway. Yellowish green so just about 7 and tds thang said 32ppm. That’s from tap run off a natural spring. If you’ve already said all this oops. I just got the “we’ve already been over this” from a different forum. Oops :grimacing:

You ain’t gonna ask ol j*heezy? Wth.:joy:j/k. Lol. Examining my roots in surprised it grew. I’ve known about perlite all my life. Wth

Your lost from my fault, I misread, and you should be raising it, my apologies for giving wrong info been along day. (Raising from 4.6 to 6.5-6.6 again sorry

@4play yes dolite lime is to lower ph again my mistake didn’t mean to give you wrong info, if you can get them to 6.5-6.6 you’ll be fine

Figured out today not to. trust my tap water will always be the same. Maybe im slow or I got lazy. I thought it would stay the same so I knew how much ph down to.add to the same measure of water to speed up the process. Dont trust it. It makes sense that it varies .mine was 7.2 today 8.3

Tht pretty much sums up my mj grow experience so far. “trial and error”, words to live by.

Just create a rule to always test pH of anything that you give your plants. Took me awhile to figure out, but amazing how far things can get off. Never take for granted that water is neutral for sure

Should I be testing the ppm of runoff? I’m a little unsure about ppm. I’ve read the ranges it should be but they are way higher than my tap water. It’s 32. Is there a lower limit you should hit?
