5 weeks, 28 days later. Pulled one of the vs1000’s due to heat. Did scrog net, ppfd I is about 900, light cycle is 20/4, DLI ~ 60, CO2 is at 800-1200 ppm.

The ladies seem a bit droopy today, since I put the net on them really, any suggestions?

When was your last watering?

Saturday, my moisture meter is reading normal, at least it was last night. Was planning on watering tomorrow morning.

Im guessing your giving it about a liter?

Correct, my vpd is about a 1.2, I did defoliate a bit when I put the net in.

Mine will do that if i defoliate and water closely together sometimes, id say give her a nice heavy watering tomorrow like you said !

I did defoliate and water the same day I put the net in, so maybe that’s it. My soil ph is very low too, like a 3.5. maybe put like a 7 ph water in?

3.5 is super low. Is that the runoff?
Maybe this professor of cannabis gardening can help you. From what I’ve read she is a champion @Lostgirl

No, I have measured the run off yet. I used a soil tester.

Are you using a meter something like this to test your soil??

Yes, and I misread it, soil ph is at 7.

Those things are very inaccurate. You need to get a real pH PPM meter. Those plants look old enough to be feeding to run off and measuring the runoff every time you feed them

I have a VIVOSUN ph meter, I will start measuring the run off next feed.

Nailing down the fundamentals of our hobby it’s very important. Documenting your intake feed numbers and your runoff feed numbers are very important as it dictates what you feed the next time. Not knowing these numbers you’re only guessing. Guess work usually leads to a catastrophe in our hobby. :folded_hands: Good luck to you my friend

You’ll need a PPM meter as well. pH is only half the game

I just got the ec/TDS meter too, I was looking at it last night. I don’t remember the numbers exactly, but the ec was about a 1 and I think the TDS said between 550 and 600, but I’m not for sure about the TDS numbers.
