Clean disinfected and added the mars hydros. Thier def more bright than the phlizon. Photone app shows them higher in dli and ppfd. But all 3 together looks pretty good in there lol

Ok. So of course issues lol. So started last grow sept 1st. Was warm out. 70s. Higher humidity. Rain etc. So dehumidifier and fans. Easy fix… now its cold and himidity is at 35 in basement … tried little room and no go. Couldnt keep humidity n temps up. So put it all in big tent. THOUGHT IDEAS ! So far its raising the humidity. But i have 2 towels wet in there. A sponge. 5 bowls of water and humidifier. Bags over seeds on pots sprayed eith water. Should that be ok to start these seeds ?
Tent is closed up now also.
Put some styrofoam under the tent…the cold concrete will suck all the warmth out of your pots and you’ll have cold roots. Run your lights on at night, of during day. I also got one of those little $20 Black&Decker heaters on a metal pail in mine to provide a bit of heat. I’m out in the garage, it’s not sealed, and temps outside are around freezing, but it keeps my tent around 70F lights out and 83 lights on.
Should be ok, my humidity fluctuates between 35 and 75 depending on the weather and if I’ve watered them or not.

They’re only what, 7 watts? Maybe 12? If worried, put the heating mat on a piece of cardboard. I went to see a Craigslist guy about some concrete pavers, he also had styrofoam and he gave me odd broken pieces for free. I cut 3 strips to cover my 4x4, then I put the tent’s floor on that.
I have my clone dome and heating pad in my “office” upstairs. Great office. Has a desk, laptop, a bed (clones on the top of the headboard), a 100 bottle wine rack (mostly empty 
), a wine/beer fridge, and a full gun rack!
Oh, cost of electricity is minimal. Even at 12 watts, 66 days of being always on is 1 kwh, here 11 cents, maybe a quarter for you? Flushing the toilet probably costs more, damn water meters and sewage costs! I figure my 465 watt light and fans, etc costs me a buck a day in veg, 70 cents in flower. Still a cheap hobby!

I have foam under the pans and risers inside oans under pot’s. They are above the concrete floor. Just hope the bags over seed holes are sufficient to have greater humidity. Says in tent its only 50. Need it to be higher rn lol. I put in wet towels soinges and bowls of water plus humidifier. Inline renoving air is on 1 … super low. And just two 6 inch fans on 1 also to circulate air slightly inside tent. I fear i may have to relocate tent uostairs if i cant rause humidity enough for germination and seedling phase

who says? Smaller tent, smaller containment, manual intervention. YOU get to decide.
Ladies get to survive me, if they like my loving care. I love growing. The learning and sharing may actually keep us all alive and well.
I get by with 50% and a plastic dome. if the live they outgrow the dome.
Leaned to “manage” my “CLONE-DOME” 90% success using dome covered cheap small seedling heatmat on insluation , in tent.Currently growing seedling in tents with flowers. CLONEs in the new year. 
Christmas 2x24x36 seedling Germ mats, I think.

I ran the t 8 inch at about a 7. 8 once or twice max in flower in sept. Oct. . I removed drivers from most lights and hung outside tent. And have 5 small fans inside tent. 3 oscilating and 2 reg during flower.
I have 55 percent rn. And dones i made with bags with holes cut olaced over where seed plugs are sprayed inside.
I currentlt decided i will cut the inline fan rn and not even run it at 1 No leaves yet. Big enough tent the circulating fans shld move and introduce enough new air. Whoch also raises temps and humidity in tent rn. Shld be able to get by until they are big enough to veg and can keep humidity at 54. 60 easier.
Hell You need a map in that tent. WE could get lost or go blind in there.
Protective eye goggles? YT and forum reading, you could build a clone tent or buy mine.
A small tent could easily be managed inside that cave you have. Need more AC-I controllers?
They made my life beautiful. I can sit with wife and remotely monitor or control tents.

This solved my humidity challenge in my basement growing in winter with super low RH outside. Works great, and keeps my grow room at 65% RH via humidity setting.

Def need on i think. Tries to go without buying anything for this grow. Currently have rh at 65 in room n tenp at 82. Fingers crossed

Id get a temp gun, if you want to really dial in the VPD then you need to go by canopy / leaf temp, not so much room temp. In the end though i ran a few grows without any humidity control except for a dehumidifier to avoid mold and stuff. Came out just fine, not saying that it couldn’t have been better, if i had though.
Said it correct. I over-water. High Humidity is obtainable, but mold follows, maybe.
VPD, my lights are high intensity and position. Leaf temps are from 3 to 10 lower than surrounding air.
IR Gun readings very important for fine tunning grow.
