Hey I need some help.
Can you tell me what this might be? I think it may be fert burn but not sure. I am using an organic seedling starter and “Bergs Fetilizer”. Any ideas would be helpful.

Hopefully they do what they do. The soil has a LOT of fish in it this year. It was a GREAT icefishing winter!!!

Really, so how do you add the fish? Just barrie whole fish in those holes, or do you break em down or something? Raw?

I filet them and put the carcasses and other remains on top of the dirt/snow. When spring time comes I burry them and the use rototiller to “grind” them into soil. I use the extra minnow water and minnows if I have any left too. Kinda smelly for a while but it goes away. Plants seem to like them!

Do you know of a schedule for using Bergman’s nutrients. I thought I had one sent to me but…smoke another one Ger!, can’t find it. First time using these nutrients so I am a virgin.

I dont know anything about the ilgm/bergmans nutes. Ive used all different kinds of stuff though. I have found if you use half of suggested to start out and go up from that point, usually does well for me. I feed almost every watering at half strength or better as they get bigger with no ill affects, just super green plants. I give em straight water bout every 4th watering.
