We went to a Yankee game on Wednesday, and on our way in the sky looked terrible and I just knew I done and effed up. At the stadium we had torrential downpour and some very impressive winds. Needless to say, 3/4 plants were blown over when i got home, and the one that was stabding was roughed up pretty good too…
Here they are after getting fixed up, the one on the left got roughed up by the wind, and the one on the right had its top 2ft snap off from falling.

Jersey Juices are the ones that got roughed up. The Hawaiian Staycations, the ones in the middle, are doing just fine. All in all, could have been way worse, but im still kicking myself for not having restaked the plants immediately after being moved on Sunday…oh well!

Solved the issue of top heavy plants blowing over with wind…

Had a some extra stuff laying around the jobsite…bossman said take whatever you need!
3/8 threaded rods, 3 feet long, drove about 16 in into the ground…standard unistrut as the brace bar, all galvanized, so good for outdoor exposure

Redneck engineering at its finest. We do what we have to do with what we have to do it with!! Gave me a smile first thing this morning. I love it. :call_me_hand:

Thanks, glad it brightened your day!

I was getting at it this morning, trimming some sucker stuff and larfy buds off the 2 Jersey Juices. Paying attention to these

I noticed last season that bud rot spots seemed to be associated with browned/rotting calyxs

So I plucked a whole ton of em, and did a heavy inspection on both Juices. No caterpillars so far!

Took a small branch off the plumpest Jersey Juice this morning for a tasting. I can’t wait for it to dry out! In the food dehydrator, at the lowest temp, it will be ready to smoke by later tonight/tomorrow morning. :face_savoring_food:

Had some storm damage from thunderstomrs yesterday, both jersey juices had super saggy branches…its a good problem to have…

I tied most of the branches up to the main and stake, and in the warmth today they have bounces right back.

Trichs are right on the money. A nice spread of ambers, clears are non existent, and its cloudy city otherwise.

Its go time!

Had a very wet night, lots of light, steady rain, and it is continuing to drizzle as we speak. I set the harvest shed up with everything i need to power thru a plant, drying tent is all ready to rock, and the hands are able and willing.

I fear that if I let it go, with cooler nights coming up, bud rot is looming. And I have learned that it lurks, and right when you are the most smug and content with your grow…BAM…top cola rots from the inside out (shakes fist in the air)…DAMN YOU WORMS…DAMN YOU RAIN!!!

Here we go, buh bye Jersey Juice #1
