Sixpackdad’s Chronic Widow Entry #32
Continued from posts 15, 45, 48, and 50
March 17th
Today was a busy day bleaching. The late flowering room, which is the converted shower and bathroom, was bleached head to toe. Everything disposable was trashed like the mylar and plastic covering the window. All the fans and equipment, with the exception of the lighting, were dunked under a tubful of water/bleach solution and dried. The lighting was carefully washed, avoiding the LEDs, with a paper towel dampened with more bleach/water solution. My hands are dried out and my fingerprints feel gone.
The Chronic Widows were moved in. The upside is they are in a WPM free environment. The downside is that I detected the first WPM spot on an underbelly leaf.
Today was to be the first day of foliar feeding per the Flower Power nutrient schedule. I took a gamble and, in addition to foliar feed, I added some H2O2 at about a 1:9 water/nutrient ratio. I sprayed them down head to toe with this solution at lights out.
They also received their latest dosage of the microorganism supplement Oregonism, about 2T in one liter of pH’d water split between the two plants. This was added after watering with grow formula to significant runoff.
Next Steps
This is the last week of 18/6 lighting and I’ll pick my final choice next Sunday.
Depending on how the plants respond to the H2O2 spray, tomorrow I may take clones from both plants and defoliate.
What’s changing from my original plan?
I have ended up bypassing the 2x4 tent and the QB132s. I’ll continue the preventative maintenance of the H2O2 and foliar spray combo if they respond to it well.

A new home under a 2-288V2 3k lamp and a 1500Wchip blurple.
Hard to see in a slightly blurry pic, but that’s an early detection of a white powdery mildew spot in the dead center of the photo.
