I get the lighting factor, that is a huge benefit. Since you can have plants flowering and at vegetative at the same light cycle.

You can flip photos right away and grow the same amount of plants per square foot as autos

I haven’t gotten the same quality buds from autos as photos but I was also learning. Maybe I’ll try one again someday

True, but when I’m growing photos and do and early flip I sometimes regret not taking clones when 1 turned out exceptional. The early flip I’m referring to is around week 3 from breaking ground or a 12/12 start from seed. I’ve had mixed results on auto bud density, the buzz is equal to photo periods though. I’ve had some really good auto harvest and some ok but none that were wasted. Different strokes for different folks basically :love_you_gesture:

@adt187 Here’s one girl in a 2x4 tent

But I had a 2x4 tent in a 6x6 space and didn’t have a smell problem So I left the tent open when they started to overflow.

So I had two photo girls that I had by accident growing outside the tent and quite large for the space. It’s a corner of a shed that has windows and blacking out the windows wasn’t an option. Light leaks for autos is no big deal.

Boy howdy I know that scene. Funny thing is, though, that I actually chopped & cured one of those minis and the smoke was not bad at all. It’s almost time to start a whole 3 week 1/8th of flower subculture for folks who want to rip through 5 times as many strains per year as the average grower.

Hey guys- THANK YOU for the input… OK- So taking note on what been said… and looking at variety traits online- Im down to ; White Widow, Gelato, GG4

Given my box size, is there any of these that stand out to you guys (not talking high…just ease of growing in small box with ScroG

OH- ONE MORE QUERY… Is there any need to make box 6 feet vs 5 ?? Ill be scrogging only with LED lights (2-600’s) - so wanna get input…

How many plants are you gonna grow? You are really gonna need the 6’ in height. Your lighting is gonna take up some room. WW

I am assuming Widow must be pretty hardy/easy because I see on this forum a lot of positive comments… I really wanna try Gelato…due to the profile I read on ‘comparethestrain’ website… dang… decisions decisions…

Hmmm… ILGM says Gelato is compact plant… hmmm…lol

GUys… another question… if I go with White Widow or Gelato but Opt to go with Clones and SoG How many in a 2x2 cabinet ??

1 plant, maybe 2 if small.
SoG in a 2x2 is going to look like a bonsai. You’ll want a short veg time or you’ll have too much bush for the space.

since dimmable no. But one might do it. A tent reflects and recycles light (the lower buds will love it) so less goes farther.

I would look at a different light than that if going with Amazon look at the Mars Hydro TS 1000 or go to HLG lighting group and check out HLG 200R or the Patriot 150

Got my box build started today… Tomorrow ill put door on… put a finish on outside so it looks like old furniture…
