Move your light closer try like 12"
Lighting is your #1 thing.
Always look at true Wattage, one plant will generally need 125w of quality lighting at the minimum, if itās cheap lighting thatās nit efficient it will be more like 300w
If heats not an issue for you HID lighting us much cheaper than LEDās
CMH /MH to veg and HPS to flower.
Kingbrights on Alibaba are good quality budget friendly LEDās, HLGās are top quality LEDās but cost a bit more however the warranty and the quality is worth the cost, Spider farmer is below both of these brands and it will work but itās not something I would recommend as itās cheap Chinese knockoff stuff for more cost then stuff like kingbrights, mars hydro is overpriced junk and pretty much any burple /led on Amazon is not worth spending money you will regret buying 99.8% of LEDās on amazon.

Mar hydro and spyder farm is kinda my budget? Thanks for chiming in. That pic w light, the plant spends bulk of day in sun outside rite now. Sunny and 75 degrees. Just a trial run till I get my equipment and seeds. Been 30 years since I grew. Grew great stuff w no techno!

Then buy Kingbright, youāll get a better light for cheaper
Plan for a 300-450$ light and make it in your budget
The set up is in an unused upstairs bathroom. Windows are covered, close the door and had no issues. I had used the area for single autos but last time did a SOG clone run and it worked out fine. I now have a purple kush photo in that spot.

Good call. Thatāll work for now. Need to find some light deprevation cloth, breathable, and make a box. Canāt find that type cloth here surprisingly?
Seems a grow tent can double as light deprevation area as well??
I use the sf2k kit. Love the light. I added two strips I had laying around yesterday only because I have such varying heights. 3 different strains. Mixed veg times. My tallest thickest plant doesnāt like being closer than 14". Like day 25 flower. Taco right up. Have had to raise it everyday the past 3 days. Hereās the map on it. Iām sure itās a little exaggerated, highest measurements instead of averages.

The tents exist to create a controlled environment, block light both ways and contain any odor until it passes through the activated charcoal filter, removing any unwanted odors you donāt want your neighbor to smell.
hence the convenience of a legit tent in my mind. struggling rite now to 12/12 without breathable blackout cloth or a dark, unused closet or bathroom. using a vacant bathroom now, but son home from college real soon soā¦
thats what i plan on getting, but was eyeing the 1k as im doing 2 plants max ?

How about a quick tutorial on if and when you would want to 12/12 a male. I posted a new topic referring to that. I have a beauty of a male, smells awesome, but donāt care to pollinate my female. They are way seperated. Male outside, female inside house.
My buddy did this with his male and put it outside and when he was going outside to take care of it and then coming back into the house I think it pollinated all his females from pollen on his clothes/hands. He ended up with bud that was riddled with seeds. Itās up to you but I would probably get rid of it.

I guess I canāt directly message someone on here? But yeah, havnt really figured out when you do and donāt want to 12/12 a male? Only if you want to get seeds off a quality female to grow again? Dumb question maybe but im not savvy with that aspect. Will be eventually. Ordering my sf tonight. Only 2x2 so still thinking the 1000? Im so impatient to get a new grow going, and by the book it will be.
Or if thereās a good read somewhere, lemme know. Iāve googled a ton and nothing. Odd.
