So what’s that mean for me? It was bag seed of unknown origin so. I have ilgm fem seeds waiting to drop when im ready. Will that soil or grow space (tent), be contaminated as if a male were in there? Or would I treat as if a male? Thanks for your input.

Luckily I have only the one plant rite now. When done, just wipe out tent real good? How bout reusing the soil?
Im just glad this plant was my first trial run, and a tool for me to learn from. My biggest concern is prepping my space for new grow coming up, after I chop this one. Don’t want my tent to have residual pollen to get to my feminized seedlings ill have. Tips on that is what I really need @Hellraiser. Thanks .

Yep, spray and wipe, water destroys pollen. Once the soil is watered the pollen is done for, though I never re-use potting soil.

@pr just my opinion, but other than water, soil is probably one of the least expensive parts of your grow. Even though the “out of the bag” soil only has enough nutes to get you just so far and from there we need to feed, by the end of the grow, what you have picked up along the way could be as large of a concern as what you have lost. you have “spent” soil full of roots, potentially bad bugs along with any remaining good bugs. you will need to amend the new soil anyway, so i am not sure if there is really a savings.
if i still had a compost pile, i would certainly add my used soil to the pile (cant just throw dirt away, they arent making any more of it), but i just dont think its worth the cost to re-use

I had the same thing happen mine was from to much stress I believe but the upside is I got feminized seeds. I’m only getting maybe one seed every couple of buds

What happens if I did a premature harvest of current. Just curious. Antsy to wrap it up and start anew.
Premature harvest sucks, clear trichs make for a weak buzz.

Im the type that wants to know as much as possible, even if its not so applicable. Can’t hurt. Still bummed about nanners, but its an educational plant so… Prepping everything for the start of a whole new operation!
