2 1/2 week old autoflower discoloration

Okay so I posted once before… Second post here happy Fourth of July everybody…

I have blue dream Auto flower… I have four plans three of them are looking pretty good one of them has discoloration in some of the leaves… I’ve checked the pH on the soil everything looks good the soil is not the problem… I’ve been very strict about my watering habits and just started to spray the base yesterday before I was spraying the leaves… I stopped because of the discoloration it happened the day before I started spraying the base 3 days ago

I haven’t used any nutrients yet… I figure if something was wrong with the lighting or the humidity or temperature all the plants would suffer? My temperature and humidity is pretty good I really try to keep it below 80 it’s very hard where I am and the humidity I keep it around 70 it goes up and down on occasion but usually around 70

Okay there might be two reasons …the other day I accidentally sprayed a bottle of water that had a little bit of Dawn soap in it on one of the plants and then I realized and stopped this might have been the one that I can’t remember… I also got some neem oil completely organic the good stuff you know and sprayed a little bit on the bottom of my grow tent in the corners and underneath just lightly underneath the pots… And a little bit on the vent entrances… But once again like I said I only see one plant being affected…

(I really apologize for the lack of punctuation I’m voice texting and working all day and I’m dead tired this is just easier sorry)

Thanks everybody

Man they look great honestly. If you try to decipher every little quirk they throw at ya, youd drive yourself nuts. They will grow different and act different even if they are the same seed from the same bag…

Thank you and I understand but let’s say I wasn’t trying to decipher everything and I miss something obvious and they all die and I waste all of my time and money LOL no thanks I’d rather try to decipher it all figure out what I can figure out… Everybody gains their experience and knowledge in a different way and that’s how I do it… But thank you and I appreciate your thoughts

I get it bro. As far as your neem oil is concerned. Be very careful with it, even if youre not spraying it directly on the plants. You dont want to use it all during flower because it basically destroys the taste of yoir bud and is it will be nearly impossible to smoke. Its a very good possibility that some overspray was carried over onto your plants therefore causing the discoloration. Same goes with the dawn dish liquid.

Yeah the soap was a complete accident I was cleaning something else out and got the bottles confused… I’m just that guy who always procrastinates and then everything falls apart and then everybody tells me well you should have asked this or that or paid attention to this or that LOL so I’m trying to really curb my ADHD and do these plants right LOL I didn’t think it would be this difficult I can only imagine how it must be to grow the regular ones oh my God

As far as your humidity and heat goes, i fight it everyday. As long as you have good airflow, humidity shouldnt be a problem

But the neem oil I’m very iffy about I won’t spray it unless I need it but where I’m at there’s these little white flies everywhere somebody told me they were the worst for any plant?

The girls look marvelous. Why did you spray neem? It looks like the 1 lady could have a few spots from spraying. If your humidity is staying that high, get a few fans to move the air around.

Yes I actually have like three fans inside and then I have one big one on the outside pushing the air into the bottom vent I have the AC Infinity at the top…

I didn’t spray neem oil on the plant or in the soil just around because I have white flies where I’m at and they go under the leaves and destroy the plants somebody told me that they do that to most plants they come in contact with… So they said to spray a little neem oil in the area so maybe they don’t come around maybe it deters them a little bit I mean they said as long as I don’t get it on the plan it won’t hurt the plant…

You ready for this? Photos are a HELL of alot more easier to grow and alot more predictable.

First, they all look very healthy to me. Second, they are sisters, not identical quadruplets and so you can expect some differences in how different plants respond to any factor.

Sounds to me as if you have temp and RH well in hand. Since you’re using soil and they look perfectly green and happy, I’d say you don’t need to use nutes yet, so enjoy them. I know you’re keeping a watch eye on them, and that’s really the most important thing to do.

Holy crapola LOL those are beautiful yeah I’m ready for that for sure it’s going to be a lot of hard work I know but I can’t wait for the end result and I just can’t wait till this kind of thing becomes second nature I know it’ll take years but I love learning about this stuff

Oh wait so autoflowers are harder to grow than the photos? I thought it was the other way around

Hang some sticky traps in your tent and see if you catch any. And look under the leaves.

Oh my God I can’t believe I didn’t even think of the sticky traps I was going to hang this other thing in there but it said not to hang it in a place where people are around more than 4 hours and I sit right next to my tent at night so I couldn’t use that but yes sticky traps LOL I should have thought about that thank you very much

Do you think they will still work with the humidity?

Ive been with this group of growmies for just over a year. Ive been growing for around 4. My knowledge and grows have nearly tripled from over a year ago. Im strictly organic.

Autos are unpredictable. Theyre like pissy Karens at a mcdonalds drive through.

I fight this everyday my friend.

It won’t take years. I’m on my third grow and I’m feeling pretty good where I’m at now. Every grow teaches lessons and I completely changed my setup this time - I’m growing with autopots so 50/50 coco/perlite.

I always make some mistakes, but I’ve always ended up with plenty to smoke.

And yes, photos can be much easier than autos, because if you make a mistake they are more forgiving since you can manipulate their growth schedule, while autos are running their clocks from the day they sprout.
