Sounds like you have a good handle on it. Im thinking saying the name of a brand or kind of soil is ok. Its the promototing or advertising for someone else its probably ok to mention the brand of this soil. Id really like to see the ingredents list. On it, im sure some others would too. But it sounds like u have a pretty idea to atleast get ya in the right direction. Good luck ill keep watching if ya dont mind
The last 8 autos i have are wwa and i let one go no lst no Fimād or topping
. This is that one ill send a pict of a topped one when i can im at work. My only complaint is plants stayed so short to containers and the are huge bud clusters its hard to get wind/airflow threw the dense thick bottomsā¦BUTā¦ They got way more branches with way way bigger bud masses. I have numbers in a few weeks but id bet the bank the smallest lst n topped plant will give me double if not more then the one not touched. Only thing is i started very early. Earlier then most people suggest but autos grow fast d ny thought is since they have a short predetermined life span try to cause any stress as early as possible so it wouldnt effect them making flowers. No facts to back that up just, my thoughts after research so i tried it. Its new grow is going to be a learning experience. Check it out might help some

@Familyman420 roll sides of pots down looks like you can gain three inches and it should let more air under canopy

To back what others have said i did see someone top an auto later and got like a 10" finished plant. It was such a runt. So be careful, or maybe try one or two too learn before u do a grow.

Ok so i cut me some 2x10 mesquites about 5ā long set the ladies on them. 2 middle rows added some bricks gonna watch them see how they do what you guys think a little better hps are about 23-25 inches from cannopy and LEDS are 18-20 inches from cannopy average temp 70-79 farenhieght humidity average 29-40% lots of air movement and EXHALE CO2 bags.

Looks better! People run 600ās a little closer without issues, but you want to gradually get there. The leds are probably about right, although Iām only somewhat familiar with the mars. Not really sure about the other.
Iād do exactly as you plan, watch and see. I probably wouldnāt let the leds get too much closer. So watch for plant growth and adjust. The hid, you can probably afford to let plants get a little closer. But you donāt want to do all at once. Maintain that gap for a few days, as long as you donāt see any issues close the gap by an inch or two and repeat.
With the lights closer, itās also possible that they will drink and feed a little heavier too. You donāt necessarily have to change anything, just monitor moisture levels and keep an eye out for signs of deficiencies.
