This is my very first grow attempt. When I purchased my seeds, I was unaware of auto flower seeds and plants. I purchased Super Skunk feminized seeds. I used the a pot for pot 2 gallon kit I followed the directions included with the kit.
The grow started slow, but started gaining momentum in terms of growing. I’vef grown exclusively indoors with a single 50-watt LED light that was very inexpensive.
I’m going on week 14, 52" from soil to top. When should I expect any sign of flowering? Is there anything I can do to facilitate the process or am I just being impatient?
First I’d suggest tripling the wattage of lights used: otherwise you’ll see low weights in your yield. Once plant is ready for flower (sexually mature) setting lights on a 12/12 schedule will initiate flower.
Three suggestions.
Cut the plant down to about 1/3 its size. It is very difficult to adequately light a 8’ plant indoors.
2) up pot to something larger with fresh medium. It has been in there a long while. So yes 5 gallon is a good size.
3) you need a lot more light and you need to be able to place the plant in complete darkness daily for 12 hours a day. If you do not provide this dark period it will not flower and will continue growing like it is a house plant.
