1st time grower...harvesting time input

Hello all
Attached is a picture of a plant that I started from seed and unfortunately do not know the strain… I suspect Indica… since that’s all I ever smoke but I am uncertain on this particular plant. since I did get some seeds from someone else.
This one started or flowering right around September 1st here in the Great Northwest Portland Oregon area. Any input would be greatly appreciated on when to harvest… I suspect I need another 4 weeks but I’m also concerned with the weather.

I will post more pics of my other plant which is a purple Hindu strain.

Thanks in advance

Wow! She’s very pretty! I’d say based on the pistils that you’ve got a couple of weeks. You’ll want at least 70% of the white pistils to change color and curl in. This may be helpful:

Good luck, and Happy Growing!

Purple Hindu is the bigger one… got started late and had some problems early on… with growth… small one has always been a strange one… leafs we’re odd…much different than the hindu…but has been fun to watch her grow… fan leaves never fully opened their always like hand with a thumb underneath it… but have never had any discoloration on the leaves or any other type of problems…

Hi @Nowiseee , welcome to the neighborhood. It looks to me like you’re going to have another month or so before it’s ready those are very young looking flowers. When looking at the trichomes make sure you are looking at the buds and not the leaves (leaves are liars) my way is to follow the hairs to the bud leaves won’t have hairs

I’m with @MeEasy leaves r liars, always go with the trichomes, they never lie. Looks like u gots a ways to go yet.

Hey biological_Wonder
These were actually with a Samsung s20 camera without any help from any other devices. I started off with the 30 x and work my way down to where I got the best view that I could.

Thank you everybody really appreciate the input…
It’s been a fun journey…

Thanks MeEasy
So as the temperature starts to dip here in the Great Northwest I should probably start bringing them in at night. Last night got down to about 45 degrees… any suggestions on how to move forward? Also could use some help with watering during this time.
And just spotted this little bugger.

Wow, nice! Those look pretty darn clear @Nowiseee. Thanks!

Great job. I was worried about my first harvest too. Timing is everything. My girls reduced their water consumption by 50% the :potted_plant: itself started turning lighter green to yellow then that’s when My trichomes really went fast from clear to cloudy to a little amber.

45 isn’t that bad. It’s been down to 42 here in NorCal but I don’t have the luxury of taking mine in - it’s 6 foot tall and 5 foot wide LOL. She’s handling it just fine, but if I could move mine around, I’d bring her in at night just because. But cold temps will help bring out really cool colors insole phones.
