If you’re talking about washing, I agree. I have seen dust and crap in the zoom pics. I think I have a cob-web spider in there somewhere too
I was picturing the SNL chick that liked to hole her hands in her armpits then wave them in front of her face to smell them.
By the FF schedule, I’ll be chopping Petunia at the end of week 11. And if the rule holds true for Nancy, she’ll be at the middle of week 12.
So a few stoner notes and questions for the next grow.
Had a nutrient deficiency on the plant that vege’d longer, had no FIM attempts or toppings, etc. and it went into pistils later.
I was very stingy with watering, making sure the pot was light but the leaves not drooping (sometimes 5 days) before watering again. After a certain point in the grow, does ‘drowning them’ cease to be a problem, as long as you aren’t flooding them every day?
@Daddy, (and @MattyBear if you forgot) here’s what I have going. The plant on the left has a date on the calendar as a checkpoint - and we’ll see. The one on the right goes under the knife on the 12th. The one on the left is gonna try and survive, but has issues. Have you ever heard of chopping the LOWER limbs, and leaving the top to mature? Might do that too
Usually it’s the tops that are done first and are harvested early to allow the lowers to get more light and mature
I also just re-thought my watering schedule and will not go more than 3 days in the late-grow.
I know right! But I don’t want couch-lock weed. For the chance to get 5 free seeds though, I am seriously considering harvesting the left one when she is to my expectations, but let the top cola go to "photographic perfection for the BotM contest. Weird, right?
I don’t like couch lock weed either unless it’s my nighttime meds. If you post trichome photos when you get closer, I’ll make sure you don’t harvest too late
I appreciate it, and I dooooooo post pictures But like I said, the one on the right is a goner by the calendar just for test purposes. I have seeds, and I have $ for more seeds. I want to grow guick, to about 15% amber, and start new strains. I even am downsizing pots to help out. If I can get 2-3 plants with 4-oz each, on a regular 2month or less harvest rotation, I’m set.
I’m talking mix-packs, with a 3-gallon of one-each, and another 2-3 ready to go at harvest to keep the flower room going.
Also, since these two were grown identically except for the LST and topping, I can base the harvest date on the big one on the maturity of the one I chop.
You do you man! Everyone’s gotta learn by his/her own experiences in the end. Let me know if you need me
