Good deal. Looking forward to following along!
And I’m looking forward to being educated by you and others on here. I’m gonna need it. Thanks for everything.
Not sure what strain those are but I love those fat leaves…
They are ILGM White Widow.
Last night I began the 18/6 light cycle. The 2 nights prior I put them in darkness for 3 hrs. The 13 days prior to that they were under CFLs at 2 inches for 24/7. Perhaps that’s why they have remained squat and wide but healthy?
Thanks for looking into a grow tent for me. I appreciate it.
Morning! I prefer short plants to stretched out plants. If you keep the lighting tight and they stay manageable you also use less water and down the road less nutrients.
you will really like the new tent. They are pretty cool!
@bob31 prefer mine short and wide also but this time I am having a problem trying to keep the height under control . We will see how bad I have to mistreat them to stunt the height I will get another tent thats taller for the next grow
I think genetic of each particular seed plays a big part as well especially in the hybrids where you will see 2 plants of the same strain and one is 3 feet tall and the other is wide and only 18 inches tall.
So the browning of the leave tip is now showing up opposite leave as well as to the other plant. It’s also showing up in the seedling. Can’t figure it out as I’ve added no nutrients and the lights are cfl at about two inches. I’m not over watering so…
Any thoughts?
@Niala All take a look at these with me?
Is it possible that because my temporary one quart containers are opaque and the light could be hurting the roots?
I’m gonna say the pH of your water. I know you have soil in those cups but what were the plants started in?
I can see some sort of starter cube in the 2nd to last pic.
I got plugs front GYOSTUFF in Cambridge and germinated in them.
Do those cups have drain holes in them? You should cover them anyway with some dark materials. Not sure what to use but you don’t want any light getting to those roots.
What are they made of? The plugs?
Damn. That just occurred to me today. I have very thick black yard leaf bags I can cut up and tape around them.
