10/13 scheduled harvest

It depends on how wet they still are. If they are super wet when you open the jar, leave it open for 15 or an hour depending on how much you need it to dry before putting the lid back on. You don’t want it getting to moist inside and staying wet enough to cause mold.

If you need to open it twice a day, to keep it from getting too humid inside the jar, then do so, or maybe even more times a day. It is going to be a balance of sorts between longer but fewer times a day or shorter and more time a day, what ever works best for you and depending on what the buds need.

I even pour them out in a brown bag move them around and put them back in the jar . The best spot is to sit on shelf in closet with no lights , and burp as needed . Once the bud starts to ripen , you will get a sour pungent smell and the buds will be very densed , sticky but crispy soft , put one in the bong and see what all your nursery time created . Happy Toking , that Kush is super good .

Man you did a good job , about 2 1/2 ounces maybe ah little less dry weight , and that taste of that sour Kush !!!

If you have too much fan on the buds, you can over dry the outside. By placing in jars, you allow the moisture to creep back into the dried buds. I would check tomorrow and possibly move them back to a hanger, or place in a brown paper bag.

The air is one part of drying. You need to place in a paper bag in order to allow the inside of the buds to gently dry out out before placing in jars where a mold issue could develop, if the buds are not dry enough.

Well this is what I got for first time successful grow getting ready to place in paper bags for couple days then back into jars got really dry hanging in tent all were crisp on outside…any thoughts

I personally don’t use paper bags, even though it is a very common and fairly old practice. However, I feel often the paper bags can impart a flavor into the bud, and apparently I’m not the only one. I personally would put them out on a clean stainless steel cookie sheet, or something similar, maybe a glass serving tray or such, in the dark for the “burping” period, and then carefully back in the jars until they aren’t really “sweating” anymore.

Haven’t read that anywhere but ok I will storing in something like that…how long would if have to set like that before back into jars It’s cause gonna b hard to control smell for me

The same…
It depends on how wet it still is. If it is real wet, maybe an hour or more, if it is more dry, maybe only 15 minutes a day.

Of course if it is more wet, you could also keep it only 15 minutes per “burping”, but burp more times per day.

When it has lost about 70-80% of the weight it had when freshly cut down. And when the jars are no longer sweating and the inside of the jar is maintaining about 50-60% humidity without climbing up when the jars are sealed. Or, when rolled into a joint – it burns cleanly and smoothly without burning out.

Hmm, yes that could be a problem, is your tent being used? It can control smell right?

Maybe review the harvesting and curing guide for more details on curing:

Great job Iceberg , now it’s time to put all your patients to test again for 12 ounces ?

You beat going to grow 6 plants and focus more on plant training and goin to use advanced nutrients ph perfect

A scrogged screen could give you double or triple the yield with 3 plants verses 6 plants . You don’t want to much of a crowd in the grow space , for the sake of air moving under and around the canopy . I seen a video on one plant scrogged and yield almost 1 lb with one plant vegged until the screen was full and than switched .

Will chk it out any links to share greatly appreciate
