1 week in flowering and I just tied them down how they look?

The listing on amazon doesn’t give very much in the way of important specs. From the looks of it would be fine for seedlings and early veg but I doubt would do well for flower. If it were me I would save my money towards a better light

I’m agreeing with @Skydiver on that. If you check out Horticultural Lighting Group, and Budget LED for starters. They may have something better in the price range if you were buying two of those. I have bought from both companies, and they are both generous with veteran discounts. I havent purchased from marshyhydro, but some growers love their lights, also. You can do much better, but $50 wont buy you a ticket. $100 will get you in the cheap seats, but quality lights are just pricey. Amazon lights have a lot of misleading info about actual power usage.

@SmokeOne I was curious and added a amazon Led to my 1000watt hps for the second half of flower. I think just having different light spectrums is beneficial in flower. I’m still learning but thought I would let you know.

Anybody else experiment with different light colors in flower?

@IceSheets that shit look gooooooood lmao yea I’m going to grab a really good light sometime this month. I went ahead and got the light figured for the price I could use it of for nothing else my wife and kids lil garden we want to start while they out of school.

I have a Mars hydro 1000 and a vivosun 600 now with some other Amazon lights seem to be doing pretty good so I can only imagine what it would look like under some real nice lights! Thanks for the feed back couple pics of my girls under the cheap lights

Looking great dude! For having Amazon lights you do have a variety and the plants are probably loving the different spectrums. I have a 2000 Bestva Reflector and 1000 Sunraise that I use for seed/veg. I toss in the 1000 watt HPS when I flip. I would like to buy the HLG 550 light but already have the HPS.

Ill be watching. Looks like you will have some dank nuggies soon.

Peace

Puff puff pass it’s the start of week 8 for the çbd shark and the Afghan skunk. Still looks a couple weeks away but I’m new to this. Tomorrow is feeding day do I give them a full nute feed and start the full flush on Tuesday or go ahead and start flushing her out tomorrow?

Looks like to me the plants are getting close to the end of their life cycle. Is this happening mainly on the upper part around the bud areas? Plants are getting hungry and eating themselves. Mine do the same thing when they are getting close to harvest. Lets me know that I got em flushed good. :v:

Yes pretty much the top so would you start the flush today or one more nute feed?

How far are you from when you intend to harvest :v:

@repins12 they supposed to be 8 weeks but I want to give her all the time she needs. Some say they don’t count the first 2 weeks after the flip so I’m just watching the trichomes trying to guess the best time.

I usually try to start flushing/no nutes 2-4 weeks prior to intended harvest. That’s just how I do it. I always try to allow at least 2 weeks of no nutes. :v:

Hi everyone middle of week 8 please dont let me mess this up this time lol.ok I did a big flush with no cal-mag on Tuesday 5 gallon fabric pots I ran 7 gallons through it over a couple hours my runoff ppm started at above 900ppm and after the last 2 gallons the runoff was down to 250ppm. The TDS of the ro water going in after I pH is 15ppm. My question is should I do another big flush when it drys out or do a couple small flushes over the next week. They look like they still might have a week or two to go but this is were I destroyed my last grow so going to post some pics for advice. Thank you and appreciate the help!

Sorry to flood the post i just respect and need your opinions and advice thanks again @IceSheets @repins12 @Chemzdead @Skydiver @BobbyDigital @QueenCityB

The canopy

I really dont want to steer you wrong. After that measured flush, and the amber showing, I might be tempted to water till heavy, not necessarily until runoff one more time give it a full light cycle and then hit the dark. The CBD and the random look like they may need multiple waterings still. Hopefully others can offer more ideas, but you are killing it. Nice canopy.

Plants are looking great man! Now that you did one big flush I would wait till the soil gets bone dry again and do one more big flush with regular ph water. You should be set after that. I agree with @QueenCityB that the CBD and random look a little thirsty still.

There’s no need to ph RO water unless you’re adding nutrients. It’s going to take on the soils ph since there’s no dissolved solids in it. You can do another flush if you’d like. I flush with tap water so if I can get the soil down to 300ppm, I call it good.

@BobbyDigital I heard that before so are you saying the entire grow if I’m using RO water it doesn’t need to be pH? And I’m down to 250ppm now so I shouldn’t worry about getting down to 0 ppm just give it water till harvest time now?

Yeah if it’s just a watering, ph’ing RO does nothing. If you have nutes in it, then you’d want to ph. It’s your call if you want to get close to 0. I call it good when I’m close to the Ppm going in. Which my tap is around 250 ppm.

Quick question for the next step for drying does the space have to be totally dark or will this clothes closet work with a couple modifications?
