I started growing when I was 15. I had a pamphlet from Amsterdam in the 70’s that advertised seeds for $10. I wish I knew than what I was missing when we planted the Columbian seeds. I caught up in the 90’s using clones for the spring planting until I saved for indoor grows. Safer but I love the adventure of the gorilla grows. CAMP flew in on us in Trinity County Ca but let us go. I could see the guy with gun laughing when I sprawled my camo body over our white pit-bull. I realized it was a Cheech and Chong moment. Indoors was more work than anyone knows when you use HPS. You need a Co2 burner or Co2 injection to make up loss from HPS and filtered ventilation. The neighbors smelled it anyway. We heard the helicopter approaching, low and slow and killed the lights just in time to cover the heat signature.
I started up after 3 years off with just LEDs and hydroponics to experiment with the Auto-flowers and am blown away with the results.
PS Another outdoor tip. Grow on the airport flight path. They can’t do surveillance.
