The perfect selfie doesnât exiâŚ
Go for it
They absolutely look ready for transplant. I seriously advise following the mixture and preparation of the soil that you did last time to the T to assure everything goes smooth.
Do you remember?
I 'member Iâll probably transplant these this afternoon once i finish my chores.
Iâm out of perlite so i guess i have to go into town.
Very important to have that perlite
Did some light LST work this morning.
Was finally able to grab enough of the stem on the smaller of the two plants to tie her down. I need to get some of these branches tied down next, which i plan to do this week.
I guess i should think about lollipopping soon, or maybe im just getting ahead of myself.
Everyone is looking really happy and green, the growth on the taller of the two plants is incredible, the smaller of the two continues to grow out (bushier) instead of up - sheâs going up but not at the speed of her sister.
Stems are looking nice and thick, getting that âwoodyâ feel to them, slowly.
- As for my spring fling girls, transplant was delayed until tomorrow due to dry soil. Dryer than i was comfortable working with - i gave them a shot of 30ml tap+Cal-Mag+b52 (1ml), theyâll be going into their bags tomorrow.
Still got the one stunty grumpy seedling who is growing as a slower pace than the other 2. She probably wont be transplanted until later this week.
Things are finally starting to look up

See if you can take the very top of the tall skinny plant and bend it all the way back to the ground, Sloooooowly
Looking good buddy gland you didnât give up on yourself keepâem green
It may just have to get tied down to the corner of the tent, theres no way she would pull down that far back into the bag.
Ive seen where some growers practically lay their plant down flat, thatâs some scary shit
Transplanted 2/3 of my Spring Fling girls.
These will stay in my tent for the next couple weeks, then outdoors to be hardened off and put in their forever homes somewhere in rural Alabama.
(Keeping my outdoor and indoor grows separate. Iâll start an outdoor journal once they get under the sun.)
Posting these just because I can.
Northern Lights (420 fast buds), Purple Kush (ilgm).
Planted with Lemon Balm and bunching onions for companionship.
Larger grow bag as suggested by the folks in the outdoor grow folks.
@Lostgirl that Mycorrhizal and Worm Casings really made a difference, look at them roots.
Everything is looking exceptionally well. Iâm very excited for you. Yes, the soil edit was the key to success here. Just repeat it on every grow as a ritual recipe and youâll be just fine
Watering
Watered âPebblesâ, the bushier of my two girls today.
Huge difference in the ppm numbers this week compared to last weeks watering. They went down fast.
Tap: 30ppm
Cal-Mag (3ml): 188ppm
B-52 (.5 ml): 196ppm
FEED IN: 198ppm / 6.52ph
RUNOFF: 1630pPm / 6.25ph
(Last watering the ppms were @ 2680ppm)
1 gallon feed, approx 2.5cups runoff.
Measured her today and she is just over 12in tall (sheâs also tied down at the stem so this measurement is a guesstimate).

Today i get the pleasure of dealing with plumbers and city folk. Outlanders galore. We may have a natural spring on the property. Good times.
Notes on a recent conversation with @lostgirl regarding my ladies.
The issue of carrying two different plants at different stages is proving to be a challenge, this is never an ideal situation but one that can be managed with diligence.
@Lostgirl youâll have to help me here if there is anything i missed or got wrong.
Plant 1 - âDefianceâ is the taller of my two girls. Seed broke soil 2/04. Transplanted 2/22. We are calling March 1 Day 1 of flower (pre-flower?) due to pistils showing within 7-10 days of transplant.
Plant 2 - âPebblesâ is the bushier/shorter of the two. Seed broke soil 2/10. Transplanted 2/25. Still in veg. No pistils showing.
Adjustments have been made to my light settings - switched lights to âFloweringâ at 75%, 15" above canopy.
Plant #1 continues to grow upward. Plant #2 continues to grow outwards and bushier.
Pics for reference (of Plant #1)
See my above âwateringâ post for reference pics of Plant #2.
Are we not men? We are Devo.
Correct. Youâre one girl with no pistols is considered extended veg. Sheâll remain extended veg until she throws her pistols. When she does, count five to seven days and weâll call that day one of flower (we add five days to pre-flower)
First she has to show you her nuts or her Va-JJ
Watering
Fed âDefianceâ today, the taller of my 2 girls.
She was looking pretty droopy last night before lights out, was hoping sheâd perk up overnight but she had other plans.
Sheâs droopy and grumpy this morning. Hopefully this watering will cheer her up a bit.
Again with the drop of ppms in runoff.
1 Gallon
Tap: 28ppm
Cal-Mag: (3ml) 179ppm
B-52: (1ml) 196ppm
FEED IN 198ppm/6.54ph
RUNOFF 1110ppm/6.22ph (approx 3 cups)
TRANSPLANT
Transplanted 3/3 of my spring fling girls. Needless to say my tent is PACKED now.
Its going to be a loooong few weeks waiting for these girls to be put outside.
WATERING
Fed 2 of my spring fling girls.
2 cups Tap+Cal-Mag+b52: 191ppm/6.55ph
Iâm going to have to ask the good folks in the outdoor forums what watering habits to get into. A 10 gallon pot is going to take ALOT more of everything than a 3gal.
But hey, look at them roots.
Seems like you depleted the soil relatively quick. What was the last runoff PPM of this girl?
1670
Wow, sheâs a Fâin pig itâs time to introduce on your next feed
Nutrients also, Vegetable yield enhancer with the one time full strength. Also youâll need to create an alternativeA Day & B day feed regiment as well. Let me know if you need help with that
