I just watered her with ph distilled water and the tds read 1.6
And I might have gotten stoned and will have to look up if that’s bad. Seem like I remember 900 to 1.2 was not bad but again I’m stoned and it is ocean forest soil

I measured my ppm last night and got a reading of 1.6 (1600?) on the tds
Is that what you would expect from a first full watering to runoff in ffof soil?
Also she seems to be liking 50% intensity at about 18” from “canopy” ha ha as if it’s a canopy
Does all that seem reasonable for the tiny plant you see above. Btw she came above ground on the morning of July 3rd

The TDS is a bit lower than I would expect from fresh OF, but it’s in the “fine” range, so wouldn’t be concerned.
Just watch the sprout for any signs of light stress like yellow leaf tips, if so then you’ll want to move light up a bit or dim it down a little but looking good for now.
Since you’ve watered to runoff, make sure to let it dry up nicely until that cup feels almost empty before next watering, could be 4 or 5 days before needing water again at that size.

Yes I am definitely going to let her dry up again
Normally I wouldn’t have done that in fear of drowning her but she was dry from my original watering and I was concerned about tds since she doesn’t seem to be growing at least not upwards
I’m watching those leaves too to make sure I don’t burn her up

Your soil is buffered so it really doesn’t matter anyway. I never check pH in happy frog anymore. OF has the same buffer. My girls are happy. Only bought an apera for coco.
