That’s cool! Seen it here a few times posted, but never myself. I did however get a monster polyploid black berry kush. Stem looked like ribbon, or old TV wire.

Maui Waui 82 days up, 43 in flower. She is enjoying the extra room and light since her sister moved out.
Cleaned her up a bit and started shaping her to fit the tent. Built a trellis, it looks janky but is solid and serves it purpose well.
With about a month to go her buds are getting a bit stretchy, guess she trying a bouffant hairdo. I’ve lowered light intensity hopefully it will stop. Her tds spiked at 4001ec, maybe that’s what made her hair stick straight up.
I went too long without sufficient runoff, 2-3 weeks with 2 gal in and 1 qt out…that’ll learn ya WilIy…prolly not lol.
Struggled this past week with humidity/temp swings so both my drying of MBAP and VPD in tent was a bit more fun than I needed while working 10 hour days 1.5 hrs from home. Not sure if the foxtailing is from day temp hitting 5* higher than normal, light stress, pruning suckers, missing her sister, 45% rh, 10 hr dark period or all of the above. Seems if it were the 14/10 light cycle it would have shown long ago.
Oh yea almost forgot my first clone attempt, took during pruning at 3 weeks in flower just to see how to do it.
Manbearalienpig 4 days into drying I had to buck and jar her buds cause she was drying way to fast due to humidity 40-50% lung rm (30-35% house). The total weight was 316 grams, 96 of which was larfy. The outside were crispy but at 18% moisture. I left them in jars with lids on for a few hours and the ouside of the buds were a lot sofeter, then took the lids off overnight. The whole house smelled like MBAP when I woke up. I’ve been continuing the lid on lid off but with shorter lid off times. The buds are averaging 12% moisture this morning so I weighed it again 273 grams total. I’ll just be burping from here.
Of course I smoked some, doner raw duta chaw. lol Surprising it tastes so good just dried and with how it smelled while growing, after 1-2 month cure it’s gonna be real nice.
I’ll definitely be growing MBAP again but now its time for her to get on her bike and ride!

The high is really nice, I haven’t experienced anything like it before. I started smoking weed less than a year ago, before that the last time was in 97 so bear that in mind lol
It gets my mind going kind of like a sativa but only focused on one thing at a time instead of 4 rabbit holes. Relaxes the body slightly, no couch lock. It greatly reduced my joint pain which was a nice surprise. Buzz lasted about 4 hours then started feeling a bit sleepy. I just kept saying, wow this is nice.
Used to just buy a bag of weed mostly shake, got ya high, taste like dirt (earthy tones), sometimes if gave ya mind high sometimes body that’s what you got and we liked it lol. I didn’t know the deference between a tarpaulin and a terpene now I find myself able to choose what I want to grow based on its profile its all just mind-blowing

The Wedding Cake I have going now is Foxtailing just like your MW. I can pretty much rule out temp, humidity, light intensity, or other environmental influences because the other 3 plants in the closet are fine, unless some are just far more sensitive to those things than others. The Big Froot by the Foot is at least 8 inches taller and closer to the light than the WC, and no foxtails. I guess I don’t really have a clue, but to me it seems like it might be a genetic thing. I’ve grown a ton of ILGM Wedding Cake autos, but this one seems like a different phenotype than any that I’ve seen so far.

I had a Wedding Cake auto in my first grow that had a strong ruderalis bud structure, looks odd but it taste great and 6 hits kicks my a$$ all day long but I’m a lightweight lol

As part of the negotiations wife got to pick the first run strains Summerpac F1 & Straight Edge, both by Ferry-Morse. Maybe some LST or even HST to keep em small yet productive will leave enough space for a thin shorty on a high chair

Maui Waui 89 days up, 49 in flower. The foxtailing is continuing on almost all of her buds. I’ve lowered light intensity twice this week, kept temp at or below 76 and switched to Epsom only instead of calmag to remove a little nitrogen, it ain’t helping. Even the lower flowers are starting to get their freak on. Starting to look like she’s shaping her buds for blunts but still she smells amaaazing. Hopefully she’ll finish before getting too much more stretchy.
The Maui Waui clone has set roots and is revenging, surprising I didn’t kill it…yet… If’n her momma don’t stop messin Im’a chop em both.
Spent the day rearranging the lung room to accommodate my new tent and got it about half set up. The new ACI EVO3 is due Wedensday. I don't think I would've tried this today without a lil lemon haze motivation. Still wore out after cooking Wed. & Thanksgiving, two of our great grand's we among our guest...great day but tiring.

Seems like there’s a foxtail epidemic these days, lol. I’ve seen several posts about it recently, and I’m experiencing it as well. I have a Wedding Cake with heavy foxtailing going on. I eased off on the lights, and my temps are low, and now I’m seeing it starting on a few other plants. Not as severe as the Wedding Cake, but still way more than I’ve seen in my past grows. Hard to say what’s causing it.

I hear ya. I’ve only got what I read to go off as I’m so new to it all but I noticed what seemed to be a correlation between it and high VPD when MBAP was in 5th wk flwr which stopped when I lowered temp, but I don’t know for sure.From what I understand it doesn’t affect potency or taste just ascetics but still I’d rather it not do it.
Maybe it’s like Darth says “the Ruderalis force is strong with this one” lol
