Morning fellas and thanks. Hope y’all’s day goes well.
looks like you made a growdoc drier?
Very similar to @Growdoc 's drydock but mine uses mechanical refrigeration and an AC Infinity 69 pro to control temp and VPD. This was her maiden run . . .

I hope it makes a good dry for you…I smoke and am old so I forget things, thanks for your repost so I could refresh my memory… I have the cannatrol so I am watching how this DIY unit turns out… ![]()
Killing it Brother, Harvest congrats and looks like some fire left in the tent ![]()

It does a good job at preserving the smell and taste . I’ve played with rate and duration of moisture removal and can easily adjust its target VPD to match the density of the buds being dried. I need to block out the front glass even though the mfg says its UV resistant, I’m seeing evidence it isn’t.

so I am curious what UV damage do you see… I have the clear glass on mine and it sits in a corner and no direct sunlight hits it…
Thanks brother.
Yea, I still got the Parvati cross doing her slow shuffle towards ripe, looking like a 13 weeker

I also use it for storage. The stuff I harvested in Sept. that sits closest to the door has degraded. It’s maintained at 60° without the reheat active so UV is the only thing I see that would cause stuff in closed jars to loose quality.

I am thinking out loud here…but the glass jar in this device is probably not a good idea … I think it will hold changes in its environment longer… I use paper bags to store mine in… just talking out loud here…
