Thank you sir, i decided to wait til 4/20 to start these autos. Im drying those plants in my grow tent, so its currently ocupide. This early warm weather is trying to trick me into starting early, but im not gonna.
Im with ya WB Im gonna wait until 4/20 to start my seeds. Pretty freaking nice weather we’ve been having isn’t it.
Really nice weather. We got a 29 degree morning the other day that messed up some of my mexican sage plants that had already put out new shoots for the year. Im hoping they will recover. Im putting in some irrigation in my yard this year. Im tired of hand watering my perennials and bushes. I keep planting more and more, so its time.
Its been a rough couple weeks for my girl and her family. My mother-inlaw passed away two days ago. She was 80, but got herself into an auto accident, in norther california, that broke 3 ribs and had her in intensive care for darn near a week. She recovered enough for travel back home. Chino valley. She had some health issues as well, congestive heart failure is what got her in the end. Its been a sad stretch over here, dealing with family dynamics isnt were i shine. Im smoking more weed than normal, thats for sure. I dont drink anymore, so bong hits will have to do.![]()
Sorry! Prayers to you and your family..
Seems like it’s another wave of bad/tragic things happening around the forum these days.

I was in my gh playing in the dirt. Amending my holes and mixing some potting soil for some flower/planters for my moms yard. Im just keeping busy outside to help my anxiety in these family affairs. I dont like to get to involved, you know. This right here, helps too.

Yeah, family dynamics can be very stressful!
Thanks man, i appreciate it.
Spring is in the air, working in the greenhouse getting ready for the season. Im amending my soil with some down to earth nutrient pack. Its got all the goodies without all the different boxes and measuring.
I am making some alfalfa meal with rehydrated alfalfa pellets. I soak them in some compost tea mix, they turn into a mush. Then i mix it into the soil. I use to just mix them in dry, either way i like to add the alfalfa into the mix. Dolomite lime, 1 cup per hole. I also add some of my native soil, sandy, clay soil, 5 gallon bucket per hole. Our native soil is mineral rich, lots of quarts and some volcanic rock too. I add some soil amend from home depot with a little silica sand. Ill start working the stuff in, then gonna plant some cover crop, amazon 13 seed blend, mostly clovers.
Happy Growing everybody
I took off early today so I could start pulling weeds that grew all through my grow area. Then Im gonna ammend the soil in each hole. Some of my cover crop survived the winter and they’re flowering. Mostly clover. I’m using down to earth products but not the nutrient pack.
