Well, if she’s still getting fatter, I’d leave her! Especially since on that bud shot, there are still a couple white pistils, and the red/orange ones haven’t curled back in.
I see your dilemma tho, pretty crowded in the other tent! Would be nice to give them their own room.
Ok, I harvested the Gelato on Saturday. She kept throwing white hairs. I turned lights down, didn’t feed, just watered. So that’s done. I was able to separate and give each a new home. Pineapple donut is said to enjoy tight spaces and the Cheddar Cheese lokes to stretch and throw up fat nugs so they are both in ideal locations to give their all. They should start to bulk going into week 5, both have decent size buds now, but haven’t started putting on that weight. By the numbers poses I should have 3-week left on the Pineapple Donut and 4-weeks on the cheddar. approaching 35 days on both. Pineapple Donuts is a 55-day and the Cheddar is roughly 62-days on paper. But we all go by trichomes! Updated pictures below.
Yup got cheddar cheeze going and wow im impressed. All are the same height color shape size aroma. Gonna be extra frosty end week 5 flower. Also ordered gelato sunset, berry burst and pineapple donut.
Just harvested bluedream and the phenos i had wasnt that great. Yeah it had a light blueberry flavor but wasnt like a wow factor. 12 weeks is what it took in flower and the yield was sub-par. Wasnt worth 5 months of my life. Seeds where from ilgm.

I’m getting close to harvest on the Pineapple Donut, I say another week. Close to 2-weeks on the cheddar cheese.

I always loke to ask. But based off of trichomes, who would harvest now? Why? I can also update today. I started flush last week on both, so they are getting cloudy quick. I know everyone has a preference. These pictures were the Pineapple Donut, which is indica. I’ve been told to focus on majority cloudy 70-80%ish 10% clear and the rest light amber with drooping heads.
Well, test buds can sometimes be a wonderful thing. Helps answer that annoying question of, are we there yet? Yes, yes we are!

So I harvested both plants today. As I checked the trichomes both had 20% amber and mostly cloudy. I’m typically not one to care about wet weight, I noticed after drying the test buds there was almos lt no reduction in weight of the Cheddar Cheese. I put in 6 grams as a test and after 4 days it was 5.5 grams. Not bad, whereas the Pineapple Donut went in at 6 grams and dried to 3.9 gr. So the below weight after wet trim.
Cheddar Cheese- 444 grams wet.
Pineapple Donut- 490 grams wet
Between both got 244 grams of shake and popcorn buds that will be converted to Bubble. Like I said normally I don’t care about wet weight but I also normally have over 60% loss after drying. Seems like the Cheddar will retain a lot of weight after dry cure. So in 8 days after it has dried and cured I will post final weight.
Off the test buds the Cheddar was very flavorful and dank, dank!

Well I have roughly a 32hrs left of cure, but I figured I would grab final weight. The Cheddar Cheese did retain the best weight but I still had 72.97% reduction after dry which took me from 444 to 120 grams
The Pineapple Donut wet was 490 and finished at 113 grams for roughly 76.52% loss. I smoked a little so I will say not the best results after drying. I was hoping to be somewhere around 6oz eacclh and will have to settle for 4oz each. This was a direct result of growing in a 2x3 and 2x2. I will grow both again in a 4x4 I always get decent yields of 7 plus from 2 plants. I recommend the Cheddar Cheese as the flavor was potent even before cure cycle! Pineapple Donut will also be flavorful I can tell. But it’s not there yet.

Both are dank and gets you where you want to be, effects on me the vet is long lasting 4 hrs plus from the Cheddar, mild and long lasting from the Pineapple Donut.

So after letting them both cure outside the cannatrol, I dtand by my statement, I support the Cheddar Cheese. Flavor, aroma, and feel is on point! Pineapple Donuts good Flavor not as potent as the Cheddar!

Haha. This is a made-up story. I’m not sure why, but I theorize that existing breeders were scared. Or the galaxy busted a bunch of reputations - maybe people were using OG Kush as a parent and claimed it was something else haha.
As for the High Times articles, the author claimed to be an ex-employee - I have it on good authority he worked for a competitor after working there. HT didn’t seem to validate any of the info he claimed - there’s no response from the company. It stinks like a smear campaign.
People submitted only dried and dead tissue. You can’t breed or patent from dead tissue or DNA - you have to have LIVING plants.
Riot even claimed they had a ray gun that brought dead tissue back to life. The stupid stuff people say! Here’s an article (published before all the rumors) where they explain it’s not possible. People have been watching too many Jurassic Park movies.

Honesty I stopped buying from ILGM because of the amount of seeds im forced to buy. 10 at a time will me a couple of years… I like most have a small tent.

I glad you enjoy the humor in it. I wasn’t there so I can’t say for sure. But I do know that lots of current lead bean breeders go out of their way to drop shade on that whole shady group of events. Mr grow it, Rasta Jeff, definitely Riot like you mentioned, James bean and duke diamond dropped dookie on them too publicly on a recent podcast.
The good news is, you are free to grow and buy them. That’s your right. More power to you. I would even smoke your dank if it’s phlylos terps I am trying. But I am still not dropping $$ on that. It’s bad karma at best, and a lie switch and bait at worst. We all have our pet peeves. Happy growing.
