Who’s going to try the new Phylos Strains?

This is one week after flipping. Just in the short time the ones I had LST have stretched almost 2 inches more.

Especially the Pineapple Donut. Sativa strain

Aeroponic system was manufactured by General Hydroponics, device is no longer being manufactured. I got lucky to purchase one when they were available

I just moved the Berry Burst to the flower tent about 45 minutes ago. Hopefully she doesn’t outgrow my tent before I get moved into my permanent room in a couple weeks. I have not dropped any of my pineapple donut seeds. Probably do that in the next couple of rounds. I know I read the Berry burst is a 200% stretch. Your plants look amazing buddy.

Took that picture a couple days ago

I would say just from the growth and overall structure I’ve seen in veg and how quictlk the flower after switching to flower a week ago. I will say to definitely try them out. I don’t consider myself an expert in the least. Yes I have been growing for abou 3 years npw. But I can tell the difference between good and bad. I have had some terrible genetics. But when O say wow, I’m impressed I do mean it. I have been sharing photoa here and there. But from the one I shared a couple days ago till now, yoh will see the difference.

A couple days ago you could see the stretch but exactly 7 day later you see blooms starting.

Pineapple Donut by Phylos
I’m almost ready to induce flowering. I had to raise the big light today.
Plant is between 4 & 5ft tall.

That’s wild! I don’t have a lot of head room. Looks like when I get around to running that one there’s gonna be a lot of training involved.

When your girl starts growing top her off produce branching. He will have a broad branched plant vs. a tall one.

@Grimman78 @Tafuta Well Grim I had the same thoughts, first I FIM, twice. Then I did the bend LST. I kept having to adjust the clips, because after 4 weeks she took off. Finally I said screw it and I did the tiedown method of LST. So after topping, putting bend clips on the the stems and tie downs shes still almost 3ft tall missing it by 2 inches.

@Dirtydabber looking good brother man.
I think I’m in week 2 of flower with the Berry Burst and she’s stretching, but not a whole lot yet. I flipped a lot earlier than I usually do with my plants. I think I ran her 3 weeks maybe 4 at the most I don’t recall off the top of my head and I’m too lazy to look at my journal. This is more of a trial run just to see what I’m dealing with. Next round will be full on plant abuse and trimming.

I’ve seen some sugar on fan leaves before. But not in 2 to 3 weeks of flower and never this much. I’m excited.

On another note off topic. My Gelato auto from ILGM is almost ready. About 2-3 weeks to go!

So I have pineapple donut and Cheddar Cheese going. Both have excellent gentics in my opinion. If that was the orginal thought behind the starting the thread posts. I want to order 2 more strains and put the 4x4 up and regrow these two and add two more as I feel the 2x3 did not do or 2x4 I can’t remember at this point did not do them justice after topping and seems loke they can really flourish with the appropriate room. So I will purchase the next 2 recommendations. During the winter I do My auto run but am willing to forego it in orser to see the full potential. Plus as much as I get excited about doing auto’s once flower time rolls around I absolutely hate it!

She’s going to covered in frost Grow Bro :love_you_gesture:

20 days after flip and the girls are looking excellent! I am still kicking myself for taking down the big tent. But I have a plan. I have an autoflower finishing up. I will move the Cheddar Cheese on the right to the 2x2 and even though I will be 25 days in, I’m going to lst the Pineapple Donut to get more light to the lower half. I have a decent amount of colas sticking up and it shouldn’t hurt the plant. Just have to be careful and not snap anything.

I have an off topic question for anyone and everyone. I jave a gelato auto that is at 98 days from seed, basically 14 weeks going into 15 weeks. Here are some pictures of trichomes. Would you harvest now or give it another week. Not gonna lie for an autoflower she wants to keep going. But I have amber trichomes but lools to me to be a good bit of clear. I know there will be some clear but curious if you guus feel there’s enough cloudy?

I have posted this in another chat, but no one ever gives an opinion. Which is weird!

Ok, I’ll give you a wishy-washy opinion!

How’s the whole plant look? Me, if the plant still looks healthy, green with good leaves, I’d leave it another week. If the leaves are all dying, yellow or getting crispy, then I’d chop.

I also look at what my upcoming week looks like, do I have time to trim in 8 days (if your dry time is 8), or would it be better in 15 days? What’s the weather like for drying now vs in a week’s time?

Either way, you’ll be happy with her! Congrats!

Thanks for a reply spud. Here is a picture of the entire plant. She’s still green but I also make awesome supersoil, so all my plants tend to stay green throughout. With very little change in leaves. I did some GDP last grow and had almost 40% amber with 95% green leaves! I’m shooting for more of a balance with the Gelato. As of Sunday I had no leaves that were fading and figured I’ve been in flower for 12 plus weeks and I heard gelatos like to be flushed. So I did a flawless finish flush on Sunday and the leaves started to fade yesterday.

I have all the time in the world to trim, so no real rush. I grow indoors so temp is controlled, and I dry with a cannatrol on 4/4 dry cure. The only reason why I would remotely want to get her out is because I have two phylos beauties in a 2x3 and I want the Pineapple Donut to get a little more room to mature and I want to bend the higher colas to let the lower get more light and air flow going i to week 4/5 on a 8 week bloom. The cheddar cheese is roughly a 10 week and will take longer. That’s where I’m at. I just can’t tell if I have enough cloudy and amber on the gelato cause she keeps getting fatter, 2 inch diameter last measure. Here are photos of the other two. Pineapple Donut looks amazing! On the left.
