The tents are most definitely in the basement and that may be the difference. During the Winter, it runs around 75F down there, in Summer it runs around 70F. I will admit that this house is a little odd. It has no a/c and has hot water heat. That is why it is cooler in the Summer, and it gets well in the high 90’s upstairs in July…we spend a lot of time on the 3-season porch then

Like @PogueMahone my two tents are also set up in a basement, although mine is a walkout, so I vent the exhaust out the window and have central AC in the house so hopefully everything stays cool enough?
I didn’t really know what I was doing when I bought my stuff and set it all up but it worked for my first grow so I figured I’d do the same thing but bigger (queue 5x5 tent purchase).
But also, I thought the tents would help with smells and things too?

Maybe it helps with things… but smell will always surprise you. You think it doesn’t smell that much… Then suddenly, you wake up one morning and it smell like a bunch of skunks had an orgy in your basement

Nice. I noticed my tents were fine when the room itself was between 55 - 60. If the room got warmer than that they would climb into the 90’s. I would love to have a basement to grow in. I dont even use exhaust or filters at all 
.

Running multiple medium to large size lights on same circuit is typically the culprit. The drivers have inrush current like an electric motor. It only lasts for a fraction of a second but with one Running and starting another or trying to start multiple lights at same time can still trip a breaker.

Plenty enough to let the entire neighborhood know what you’re doing! I’ve got Blue Dream and BlackBerry Moonrocks going through 3 - 6 inch carbon filters and still catch a whiff outside occasionally.

I have a covered entrance. It seems very self contained. If I catch a whiff i may add my 2 - 4 inch back to the fold. I have been more worried about hearing my stereo out in the street than smelling one of my hobbies.
more days than not we get a stiff west wind from the sierras that disperses those smells wonderfully.
On clear days have never smelled it outside without an open door…yet
Edit: on the day I wet trimmed it was surrounding the house.

Some strains are definitely worse than others! My BlackBerry Pancakes is wonderful weed but does it ever stink, it blows right through my filter systems.

I just got done planting more grapes…which equates to digging up rocks, pulling stumps, and ripping out ground ivy aka creeping charlie. Zen helped by chasing bugs and using the holes for litter boxes. Bailey assisted by alerting me every time Zen attempted to hang himself by climbing the 8’ chainlink fence.
