I’m a relative noobie on the cannabis growing scene and have gotten far more out of this forum than I could ever put in. There isn’t a chance in hell I’ll ever be able to pay forward the information I’ve used to get to where I am now. But in all fairness, I’m not that far along at all. Besides the tips, suggestions and advice I’ve gotten, the friendly banter, side splitting humor, the mind blowing revelations and cheerful disposition of 99% of this community. makes even the tough times all the more bearable, but from time to time it seems like everything goes to sh%t The past week it’s been one of those times. Everything is going great until it isn’t. Not that I’m encountering a crop killing disaster or I’ve ruined another few plants. It’s more like “I should have seen this coming and acted quicker” type deal. Like any cascade, it’d not limited to just one level or layer. It’s a quick and swift kick in the pollen sacks. It takes all the wind out of your sails and plants you square on your ass, only to try and find the solution all the while believing you’ve done right up to that point. It can be disheartening, frustrating, maddening, beleaguered and down right defeated. As you’re feeling this way, you’ve still got to figure out a solution and fix the problem you’ve created or facilitated to begin with. It’s hard as hell to find the motivation or the will sometimes to backtrack on yourself and correct the issue. The biggest slap is, it takes twice as much time and energy to get things back to where they need to be than to have gone straight there in the beginning. Easier said than done right? That’s when you NEED to remember why you got into this hobby to begin with. If it was easy everyone would be doing it and where is the fun in that? Don’t let the mistakes get you down or leave you beaten in a corner asking yourself “what you did wrong”. Everyone that has done ANYTHING that they have been passionate about has felt this way at one point or another in the process of perusing that hobby or activity. I’ve felt beaten up and stepped on these past 3 days because I let a problem get out of hand when I knew it was coming. I just should have acted sooner. I’m sharing this because if there is any one else out there that has ever felt like this or feels that way now, you’re not alone. AND if you haven’t felt like this before you WILL. It’ not easy to piss away 2-3 months of work and attention just to watch it wither away on you. It feels like such a waste. Don’t let it get you down, don’t let it eat you up inside. Take control of the problem and get back to work. The easy way out is to throw in the towel and say “F - IT” I’ll start all over again. You’ll never get that time back nor will you ever get a chance to turn something around and bring it to fruit (so to speak). Getting a serious case of the “F#CK IT’s” is the bad way to approach this kind of problem and it won’t help you out in the future. So if you’ve reached this point before or feeling this way now because something that comes easy to some people might not come easy for you just yet. Hang in there, chin up and charge ahead. Not gonna say it’s easy to turn off feeling like this, but it gets better once you decide to head butt the bastard and address the problem you’re encountering. Just remember, you’re not alone in this, we’ve all been there and currently I’m there now. BUT I know what I have to do. I hope this will help someone at some point because it really does suck thinking you’ve lost a few months of your time to a stupid overlooked mistake. ---

I agree I almost got the f\*\*k it’s my 1st grow when my autos were the size of 5 day olds at week 3 but instead I dug in my heels and said I WILL LEARN THIS , still ended up with smaller them average autos but I put that knowledge into my 2nd grow and now I’m on the level of hydroponic nute growers but using organic instead ,my front devil cream is 2.3 feet tall even and I only ran into a small magnesium deficiency this grow( but that may just be because the 2 fast bud grew to fast for my soil amendments to catch up) ![20210120_194652](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/growingmarijuana/original/4X/1/8/a/18aa5d42b3cf3081e58865d7fb6026178c793476.jpeg) ---
