Had some of the stem rot and was able to get it to pull through just fine, but he’s not showing symptoms of necrotic leaves indicating stem rot. ---

Search stem rot on this forum there is some advice and pictures you can compare to. I have only read about it and have never seen in in person so I can’t say what it is for sure just what it looks like. I defer to more experienced growers on these types of plant health issues like @WickedAle @garrigan62 . They will have more insight than I. ---

Could be purple stem, indicating a need for CalMg. Wiping off the mold won’t solve your issue. Treat with peroxide solution like @WickedAle suggested. Spray down at lights off. You should try to find source/reason and fix. ---
