Appears that something is eating at your plants. There may be other issues but I think this is good starting point.

I have the same thing going on with leafs on my new plant, today when I watered I noticed what I believe to be fungus gnats, it looked like a little tiny spider crawling on the pot and then it took off flying

guys my personal opinion I think the government is messing with out soils I purchased 5 different soils from my favorite happy frog ,wonder soil, wakefield, foxfarm & Royal gold and they all had something wrong with them from tiny red spiders ,knats and even bud worms wtf is going on I got my money back for these but damn this can’t be a coincidence and no I’m not paranoid bc I don’t even smoke just a grower

Whats your soil PH? PPM?
Whats your room humidity and temperature?

The deformed leaves tell me either you’re too humid and hot so the plant cant transpire.

Or the PH is too low so cant uptake nutrients.

Im more inclined to say your soil is too acidic for the uptake of nutrients. Ive just dealt the with same issue.

Mine get that way when I get to close to them with the shop vac. LoL
But really, did your other plant that did this grow out of it? I does look like something may have been chewing on it when it was very new growth. My first time trying to FIM a plant looked like that when it grew out.

I had a couple leaves do that before I got my tent dialed in. Also if they were being touched by another leaf or something they would do that. Haven’t noticed any ill effects from it.

It’s either insects, lack of nutrients or genetics. Insects can be chewing on the leaves but your leaves have some interesting edges (not typically pointed) so genetics can be part of it too. A sudden variation in nutrients can cause funny shaped leaves too but where pieces of the leaf are gone, that’s usually something eating them.

LOL that’s funny. Sorry if you’re serious but it is funny. Conspiracy theory about the government deliberately infecting soil with pests

Potting mixes are regularly infested with fungus gnats and other things. It happens in all parts of the world and isn’t just potting mixes that are infected. Most of the garden plants I buy from the local hardware/ plant nursery have fungus gnats and I treat everything here a couple of times a year to get rid of them. If you have fungus gnats indoors, you have them outside as well. You need to get some parasitic nematodes or a bacteria (BT) and use it on every plant inside and outside.

Spider mites get onto your plants from other plants. They can be in a small colony outside and get blown into your house and land on indoor plants where they set up shop. You can get rid of them with soapy water sprayed on both sides of the leaves and anywhere you see the mites (small red/ brown spider looking things in a cobweb).
