I just noticed the foxtails yesterday. I knew they were outside ![]()
Ok, question.
I grow almost exclusively indoors, under HID, 600-1000w. I never had foxtailing indoors that I’m aware of. Why did I get it outdoors?
Genetics a possibility. Certain strains are predisposed to foxtailing?
I was thinking the same yesterday. Mine are really small buds on a Purple Kush Auto. I really stressed them at the beginning of flower and suspect thats why mine did?
That’s a very big possibility some do it and are prone to it more than others
This plant is a Wedding Cheesecake auto, 420 Fastbuds. I’ve grown it several times, always indoors. Always a fairly easy grow, no surprises.
Interesting that I grow it under a 600w MH with no foxtailing. Very robust, nice buds. But this plant has been kind of a weakling. It’s in my backyard, in a place that gets loads of sun. It on a stainless table, right next to my basil, that reflects a lot of sun. The basil thrives.
But the seed was 2 years old? But it smells like hell! Can smell it all the way down my driveway.
Here’s the plant.
Fill me on what movie this is plz
Congratulations you are a winner!!!

@SausageMahoney
When in doubt….. 2weeks. Lol
Just for shits and giggles you could take a wrap/paper/cig and rub it on a flower catch the broken trichs on the paper and smoke it…that will give you a ballpark of where your flowers potency may be at
It’s usually heat triggered but at this point with the mixed genetics of some strains it could be triggered by anything . Bad (anything modern) music , re-runs of Lost , Rosie O’Donnell’s photograph y’know scary stuff .
