Very good choice of words there, that was more or less what I was getting at. You don’t have the ability to veg longer and correct any issues as you go with them either. The growers that seem to repeatedly be successful with autos here I wouldn’t call beginners by any means. So while they may be a really good fit for less than ideal spaces, I feel the control and flexibility of a photo fits a little better.

Your points are well stated @dbrn32. While marketed as beginner friendly, there are decidedly many disadvantages in choosing an auto for a beginner than there appear to be advantages. Of course knowing the pitfalls going into a grow is half the battle, and if being aware helps avoid mistakes, I’ll hope to be successful if I end up with the WW Auto as my next grow.
