Just my dirty ole thumb nail :person_shrugging:t2:
Never had a problem and I’ve pruned and topped all sorts :green_heart::metal:t2::wink:
Had to many “Oops” with scissors :disappointed:

Tough love. Put some dirt on it.

I’ve used honey a couple runs but usually nothing, just sterilize clippers before topping. I saw zero difference in honey and nothing….

I really only use honey when repairing broken branches. I don’t use it when I top a plant. I use my dirty plumbers fingernails whenever I’m topping, fimming or defoliating, but if I thought I needed to seal the cut I would use honey or aloe.
