What are the yields using the more preferred LED lights?

The next one up. The one with reflectors. That one might be fine but I can’t speak to it. @Buck3

I’m out of likes but I’ll give ya a :+1::+1:

The light @Myfriendis410 posted seems to have a very good reputation amongst the members here. I would say that or the viparspectra 300 would be good value options and very suitable for what you’re trying to do.

I used a 450w LED from Viparspectra for Veg, and a Viparspectra 600wLED and a Viparspectra 450wLED in combination for the flowering tent. (4x4x80"). Here are the results from this grow about to be harvested…

Question why don’t we shoot full plant shots?? I am running 2 Morsen 1k led panels and they kick out heat but are super bright and covers a huge amount of space price was fair at 169 per light I have light burned my babies I have nutrient burned my babies I have put these plants through LAST hell! And they are fat and hard as a rock. The size is my concern due to the abuse I have put them through this is week 4 of flower. I need to know if my girls are on track. Hoping for some big buds using GH PRODUCTS

@Smilin, you just used the 3 lights?

I have been reading a lot about this subject lately. While you find some differences, you get about .5 grams per watt. of course, good growers will do better and bad growers worse, but this is a good rule of thumb.

One other IMPORTANT note. The differences between LEDs is huge! And it is not directly related to cost according to research done independently on Youtube. Given that a 300W LED can range from high two hundreds to mid five hundreds in PAR (the usable light for photosynthesis) the light you use will play a large roll in the amount you get per watt.

I used two lights in flower in a 4 x 4 x 80" tent. One was a 600W the other was a 450W. Both are Viparspectra LED’s. If I had the choice to do it again, I would get two 600’s. For the money spent, and the savings on the electric bill, they have been worth the investment…I have had them for 2 grows now, and not one issue with them…

@Smilin, thanks for the info. you got buds like that on 25 watts/sq ft. sweet! .i have a 600w viparspectra in my 3 x3 tent. thinking about adding more light. think I will wait.

You’re welcome! Between both of the lights, I am getting results that allow to concentrate on other variables. Not a bumper crop, according to some of the pics I haven seen on here, But for the needs we have it works just fine. Like I said though, if I were going to add another light, it would be another 600w and use the 450w for something else.
