Weeping cherry with turkey tail mushrooms

I’m posting this here because y’all might be the only people I talk to who would find this as cool as I do.

We have this massive weeping cherry that was damaged sometime before we bought the place. This year we have turkey tail mushrooms growing from the damaged spot on the tree.

Are they edible? I found 1 morel here and once had chicken of the woods
