LOL… That is what is called Dog Vomit (common name for a species of slime mold. It is harmless and only feeds on dead, decaying hard wood. Here’s a close up pic I took of some a few months ago… Slime mold is so amazing to me!!!
I made a canvas print and titled it “Vómito del Perro” LOL

@noddykitty1 I found this young family with a gigantic back yard - one of those pie shaped lots! They even load it up for me and good full eight bags every mowing. With the new garbage service here it is $2 a bag extra for yard waste so we both benefit.

Be careful with the lawn clippings if they are treated lawns they will have residual pesticide in them.

I use green outdoor carpet, no issues with heat.
Sure enough, when I looked at the first picture, I thought someone ralphed in the flower bed.
