Today is day 18 and the last day of my colloidal silver application now that male flowers are now visibly forming. They are on day 16 since flip so they are just now starting to really flower. With 30ppm CS, I did have to spray twice a day due to an increase in female pistils. So I would recommend using 50ppm as I will be doing on my next feminization project so that I will only have to spray once a day. I also found that spraying before lights go out is very useful since light weakens the CS. Letting it soak in during the dark to me seemed like a good idea and it did produce male flowers so I’m stoked. Now the wait for pollen production so I can get feminized seeds growing of GDP, Purple Dream, and Granddaddy’s Gold! And to be followed up by feminization of Gold Leaf, Romulawi Glue, and Black Jack…mic drop

Thanks guys, I’m just happy it is working out. It is also my first time growing in soil so naturally I have about 20 plants in dirt at the moment lol.

She did what she was supposed to do. Just got 50ppm CS in the mail for my next two Fem projects. Next time I will spray only one or two branches for pollen production because I don’t need a whole plant worth of pollen and it wastes my CS.

It’s coo that you can make hybrids without worrying about a complete male plant.
I’ll probably take clones off of proven phenos and make them that way.

That is the best way to do it so you can choose plants with the best phenos for your growing style and space.

I know I am lagging on updates, but not much has happened other than them maturing a bit. I finally took 2 branches off the GDP that is producing feminized pollen and put them in water under a T5 until they bloom. I’m hoping to catch all the pollen in my cloner tray. I left the rest of the sacs on the plant for now simply to test different methods. Here is how they are looking.

Today I was able to work enough feminized pollen out to start pollination of one limb on all 4 flowering females. I will add more pollen to each limb as more pollen sacs start to open up. Super excited for this grow!
Outdoor plants are doing well. My next feminization projects and bud grows. The trick is to keep the flowering tent full at all times!

Love it @Vexer! My next task is to get a 4x4 tent, 2 260watt XL QB’s from growers lights or a single 320w XW (haven’t decided yet). This will be my flower room when I can get it going.
