They are healthy for sure. ![]()

They seem to really like this dirt mix. Its the same pots and dirt I ran the white truffles in. Added a handful of basalt dust with bio char at a 4:1 ratio and another handful of bio live in the transplant hole with mycos as per my usual. They have also been given the usual banana peel water bubbled with microbes, molasses, humic acid and since there vegging a small splash of alaskan fish fert. ![]()
When deciding what medium to use in my first grow I decided on soil, seemed simple
. Top dress , recharge, teas etc. I managed to get pretty good results but kind of knew I would go to coco and salt based nutes, much simpler for my head to grasp
. Someday I may revisit soil, but for now I like coco and mega crop. I do like watching the soil growers though
.
Your plants are on point.
You have it on point in soil for sure. I love my Promix and MC1 or Jacks. Went back to basics and plan on staying there!![]()

Thank you my friend, I grew up growing this way so it’s a little easier for me than some folks I guess. Today they call it organic and its all hip and cool. Back in the day it was just the way we done it because you didn’t have anything else. Lol. ![]()

these days its much more affordable as well to build your dirt and let it grow. Those nutes get expensive. ![]()

Have yall ever seen these??? I found a couple in the middle of my largest polyploid buds last harvest. They look like a giant calyx. Like way way bigger than normal though even seeded ones. They turn white and have a yellowish tint inside them after drying.??![]()

I figured just a mutation. But heck if I know???
That’s something I haven’t had! Looks like an overgrown calyx. ![]()

I also wanted to share with yall how I train my photos. ![]()
I start out about ⅓ of the way up the stalk and I gently work the stem back and forth and side to side until it gets kinda floppy, then I move up slightly and do it again, continuing up a few inches until the top will stay laying over on its own. ![]()
I will do this every few days and it really helps let your lower branches catch up to your others to help create a nice even canopy. Without the added stress of super cropping and snapping her legs and the slow down period she will most likely have from it. After they get the shape I want I usually add a dose of basalt and the silica in it kinda makes the stalkes get more rigid and woody like. ![]()

Forgot to add that if the main cola get to growing too fast you can always “pinch” it a little and slow it down also. Just be careful not to cause too large of a split where she pops at. But it is a very effective method to control her vertical height. ![]()

How do yall take this response? I reached out to see if I could confirm this was the right place and got this back.
A bit snobish, imo. ![]()
Yea I agree with that, no communication skills at all
@Olaf.ILGM might like to know about that… ![]()
It’s not a huge deal, but it could also drive people away…
That was the only reason I would EVER post something like that. I got a snootie vibe from it also.
I ask because I wanted to make arrangements to go to it. Hotel accommodations, time off request, all that stuff. I guess they just helped save me some money. ![]()
