I got the FGI UVA bar today and set it up. Thanks for the recommendation, I probably would have just got the HLG one and this one has better specs and greater coverage for about the same price. I think I am set now.

Nice man!! That’s a good looking rig and most importantly it’s gonna grow you a ton of sweet, sweet bud!
They both will pay for themselves many times over! At least at the street prices around here!
Or what they used to be - I haven’t had to buy weed in months!
Now you gotta set up a journal so we can follow along and help you out if needed.
It’s a good idea to have a single spot where it’s easy to track what all is going on and it makes it easier for anyone trying to help to just scroll up and see where you’re at.
Plus we frickin’ LOVE pics of weed!

Is UVA harmful to sprouts? Because I hooked it up and made it part of the system immediately. I feel like the sprouts have slowed down. So I disconnected the UV for now. It has been 5-6 days since these broke soil.

I ended up leaving the UV off for the seedlings and they are doing well. Will turn the UV back on during veg.

I am using a simple GE grow bulb until my grow lights arrive. Will be adding a UVA light during Veg groth.

You are going to LOVE that light. I have the 550v2 Rspec in my 4x4 and on my first grow. This is one of my girls trichomes at 50 days old from popping out of soil. I am positive the light is a huge reason my girls are super sticky so early. ( Plan on trying a UV bar next grow)

@GrowingIs4Everyone all my permanent suplies are coming in this week. Will be using the UVA light in the new tent when seadlings are ready to be trasported. Now im doing research for IR lighting for flowering when ready.
