Dialing in on a forecast it seems ?
looks like she still has a few more days at least.
Back into the hibernation chamber I go ![]()
looks like I see 1 or 2 starting to turn. The next few weeks are the hardest part. Hurry up and wait for it ripen, dry, and cure so I can sample it already.
I plan on starting another one right after, Big Wreck. Hopefully that’ll push me back in the seat for a little bit waiting on the curing to be done ![]()
Not seeing to many white hairs now. Definitely glad I’m holding back from chopping because they’re looking even better now lol. She still never recovered from the spots on her leaves so I’m just gonna take a wild guess and say she’s done taking up nutrients now and on her last leg.
I generally err on the side of longer is better. It can be a pretty huge difference just giving them an extra week or two. Ripe fruit is always better. Density and flavor also develop quite a bit too. You could dial your light back a little. Towards late flower the light requirements go down a bit. It might help with the foxtails too.
I believe I’m only using a 300watt led. Should I dial it down to about %70ish I have it on max now.
That’s probably a good place to start. The rheostat in most of the more economical lights isn’t great. It’s one of the ways they make them a little cheaper. That means the dimmers aren’t always very accurate.
Agreed. And then when you post and ask “is it ready” and someone says more time, I silently groan.
Also you’ll be surprised what a two weeks can do. At least what I’m learning.
In a bit of a panic today. Woke up at 5 this morning to power outages. Rh would spike from 43 up to 60-68. Power kicks back on try to get the rh back down and just when it starts to drop the power goes out again. I’m experienced in mold just not mold with plants. Not sure if they fall in line with the 48-72 hour mark like mold from water losses etc. it’s now 11:30 where I am and I’m on my 7th power outage. It’s technically “night” time for the plants lights kick back on at 6
unplug your lights and anything else you don’t want to fry while the power is off. Power surges are hard on electronics. If you can keep your lung room dark you could open up your tent or even pull the plants out to allow air around around them. Anything you can do to keep the humidity down as best you can and fresh air moving. A long period of darkness isn’t the end of the world for the flowering plant but it does increase risk of mold and bud rot.
Power finally stayed on, hoping all repairs are made and I don’t run into anymore problems today come lights on. Lung room is completely dark not allowing any light in. Opened up the tent to allow moisture out as well. Seems to be holding around 45 again
I hate it when that happens, I always get nervous that something will go terribly wrong before I get power back.
Back to work I go starting Monday. Long hours. 7am- on, hoping it’ll be chop time before I go back to work. What are yall thinking ??
Still have more time. Probably a few more days at least.
Sorry I been inactive due to getting back to work. After waiting a few more days I seen the amber trichs and went to the chopping block. Currently in dry now. Gonna push for a 10 day dry and 1-3 month cure
Grats bro I hope it’s everything you dreamed and more. I’m counting the hours on my outdoor. She is soooo close but not quite there.
