I had to google that… never heard of it before!
I was the youngest of three brothers, both of whom made me aware of how it gets its name.
It is aptly named!
Lead Cannabis Inspector Zen has determined that Ilgm Granddaddy Purple is ready to be flipped.
It shall be noted!!!
Bravo Zen!

You really do capture some amazing nature photos Randy. Just gorgeous! ![]()
These are mostly from 10-12 years ago. I was really into photography at the time and my backyard in Albertville was a bird magnet. I had a Maple tree about 12’ from the back windows of the second floor. I had a camera with very nice lens and a tripod. I loved that tree.
Oh Yeah…The stocked feeder did not hurt either.
So…There I was peacefully taking pictures of the lovely lilac flowers, when this bully of a bumblebee photo bombs me…If you look you will see it is giving me a raspberry!!!
Butterfies are in on it…
Great shot of the bee man wow
Weird fact of the day-
Physicists have determined that Bumblebee wings are too small to enable flight!
Bumblebees cannot read.
It is pretty crazy, when you see their transparent little wings, to think those can carry them around…
Absolutely beautiful bee

The accidental shots are my favorite. I had purchased a new lens, a 300mm Fresnel, and was testing it out on the patio. We had a row of lilacs and I focused on the blooms, the bee flew in as I staged the shot…and serendipity!
I had a similar experience when I bought a 28mm wide angle, as I staged my very first shot of a flower in the garden, a fear that requires a very tight position, a hummingbird flew into frame.
Amazing pic of the bee, I love it! ![]()
It’s soooo checking out your camera. ![]()
